Day One ends by April 20th at toll of midnight PST.
An oven fire spreads in the early hours, licks of orange roaring into the night. The people of Orsova rush to its rescue, but even the heat of the blaze cannot smother the chill down each mortal's spine as laughter drifts from the mountainside.
Come morning no trace remains of the baker or his family.

Who among us would delight in burning the poor townsfolk alive?
Who, in fact, would delight in such cruelty?

for apparently having a Kingdom of Loathing forum account ...
And rather than just end with that fluff I'd like to ask a couple of questions ...
1. Anyone here have any long-standing grudges or odd personal history?
2. What's your favorite implement when cornering a vampire, werewolf or science abomination - pitchfork or flaming torch?

I don't have any grudges that I'm aware of.
Also, torches are clearly superior to pitchforks. If there is one thing classic horror has taught me, its that all supernatural creatures fear fire.

Ooba replaces Merkabah, who didn't pick up her PM.
Day One ends by April 20th at toll of midnight PST.
As the villagers considered their defense a black cloud obscured the feeble winter sun. It dove towards Orsova, forming into a thousand black bats, screaming and fluttering through the streets. Moments later they passed on, leaving chaos in their wake - but fortunately no deaths.

We're all "doomed souls". Bolded ones were CONFIRMED doomed souls.
