Also, I'm running Ubuntu with XMonad. It's the bomb.
The point of RVS is to gain info on everyone by judging the interplay and natural conversation that voting causes. By choosing not to participate in RVS you are in essance witholding information from town which is definantly not a pro-town thing to do.
I would hate to drag the game out of RVS at such an early stage therefore.

There are lots of ways to be pro town without random voting. Participating in RVS is not pro town in and of itself.

D: Lynch all liars!
Vote: Lowell.
...Wait. I'm technically not Nik's buddy. Does that mean I have to self-vote? Clarification, please!
Hey Reck, why do you keep saying 'THE' sk? It makes you sound like you know there's an sk. Please stop, you are making me nervous. I don't like sks. They hurt me when they are stabbing me at night (zomgphallicimagery).
I've played with kyle, Neto, Reck, Lowell, DRK, and hito! That's half the game! I also know AlmasterGM from that newbie game where he won as scum versus DTM and tubby.
Sakako wrote:Wow. I can't win. In the last two games I played, I screwed up the RVS cause I kept it going. Now I don't want to vote, and I'm getting voted for?

, cause you're actually analysing stuff. :p
I'm in a similar boat. My last game I wasn't aggressive enough early and town kinda lost as a result of it.
Well, of course, my case was kind of different because I was scum in the last two games - and got lynched pretty quickly. I think day 2 on both games. :p
@Espeonage
Why an FoS and not a vote? Do you feel your current (random) vote is better than a vote for Sakako? (Sakako is clearly town, but that's beside the point of this question.)

You don't
have
to, but it would be a nice gesture if you did. (Pleeeeaaaaaaaaaaaase? I'll post a "<" and a "3" in the shape of a heart if you do.)

As early as it is, he already looks like he's floating along.
Because we can still classify ourselves as in RVS and as suck I didn't feel that ending it quickly would be particularly beneficial due to the information that can come out of conversation in this period.
It is said that everyone, wether they know it or not, want others to know what there role is and as such will leave clues. People are more likely to leave such clues when the pressure isn't really on. Thus keeping the game in RVS as well as prompting discussion which is beneficial to town.
I was also criticised in my first game of not being aggresive enough. I was trying to make sure that didn't happen this time.
No, no and no. I was simply stating game theary to back up why discussion is a good thing. You want to see it I suggest you go read some of the wiki and I would definantly not advocate a mass roleclaim at any point.
Nobody suggested massclaiming - Paranoia probably thought that it would be brought up since he's a newbie and doesn't yet know that D1 massclaims are almost never done on this site.
I don't particularly like Bob's vote on DRK. He put on a second vote without a lot of reasoning behind it. It's a light tell, but it is one nonetheless.

Finally, I'd like to point out the interesting little vote exchange between Alamaster and Kyle. Both are voting for the other, which is interesting at this stage in the game, especially as they are the only ones voting for each other. This could either be read as an OMGUS or as an intentional distancing. Again, an extremely flimsy lead.
My posts are best read in the calm, reassuring voice of Morgan Freeman. I don't sound anything like him, but they sound best that way.
Temporarily retiring following the end of my current obligations.
AlmasterGM wrote:@Everyone - If you HAD to policy lynch one player in this game, who would it be and why?
It'd be cool if the answers weren't random.
kyle99. Like Reck, I've lynched scum-kyle and town-kyle and I can't recall any significant difference in their play. Reck is kind of the same way himself but I think Reck also serves as a catalyst and sends the game in interesting directions which kyle doesn't really do. DRK actually pointed it out (incredibly prematurely in this case) that kyle tends to be more of a floater.

I had reasoning. DRK was trying to get a wagon started in the first post, with absolutely no reasoning. I felt that was enough to put him at L-5. It's at least as strong as tell as this supposed one against me.
Also note the irony of you putting a second vote on me for a an equally weak tell.
I'm a townie! Honest!

A bit defensive and trying hard to please, eh?
