"Hi folks, you've joined me on tonights episode of "He Who Dares Answer Lots of Questions Right and Isn't Weakest Link and Wants To Be A Millionaire and The Odds For The Player To Win Are 15 to 1 WINS!"

Unfortunately, the prize fund has been reduced from last week's jackpot prize of 10 trillion to a mere 10,000. Who will win? And Who Will Lose?

*machine gun fire from amongst the contestants*

"It's time to make things a little more interesting, this game is going to be fun... each round, you ask people questions and they answer with their pretty little smiles to prevent other people voting them off to bag themselves lots of money... well it's going to change, this time your playing for your life... so you better get the questions right

Bog Standard Rules as well as the Following

:

1 - Each lynch or day (whichever comes first) all powers are reloaded.
2 - Powers are processed after 72 hours + till I log in.
3 - Role Altering Powers are processed immediately and last 72 hours (e.g. RB, Doc, JK etc.)
4 - Each Question Stage will last 48 hours, with weekends counting

as normal

5 - Each Answer Stage will last 48 hours, with weekends counting

as normal

6 - Each Voting Stage will last 48 hours, with weekends counting

as normal

Note this is the following order of the game (Day 1 is the example)

Voting Stage 1 (Majority Lynches, No Revoting therefore no unvoting)

The "unusual slightly psychotic game host" was determined to let you remain true to your cause, but you were once a prostitute... you know what they say "once a prossie always a whore"... So you'll use this to your advantage once per day you may distract a player and they will be rendered incapable of participating in the next Question Stage.

It however comes at a price, and you cannot ask any questions either. You may use this power after every lynch or after every two voting stages, whichever comes first.

You win when all anti-town roles are eliminated, and the people who murdered the innocent host are dealt with appropriately.

some clarifying questions, max:
1. you say to each player, so i can ask 11 questions in total, correct?
2. Do i have to do this in the same post or can i space them out?
3. Can we ask compound questions (the rules of evidence in court don't allow for this, for example)?

You can if you so wish, after all players are not restricted to only one word responses, so the effect of them is nullified.

Like this quote has me wondering why would you ask a question that doesn't have a right answer? How would you persue a player through a question that has no right answer to it?

I assume that we are allowed to make posts that aren't questions...with that in mind...

This is a very good point...why would someone want to ask a vague question without a direct answer? Possibly to try and confuse people? Hmm...scumtells on page 1, never encountered that before...

Thie Inquisition...what a name for this game.

I know this is kind of an "idle post," but I wanted to clarify my question to the mod: I wanted to know if the questions should be trivia, or game-related. I don't want to waste my time coming up with good trivia questions if that's not what this stage of the game is for.

Ok, it's the first page and I'm already confused

Same questions to mod as everyone else- Are we asking trivia type questions or just w/e? etc.

Anyway, Since I have time I think I'll play it safe and do both. Anyway, feel no need to answer the trivia questions if we're supposed to ask normal questions

Non-trivia questions

bv- Do you use meta and if so, how much?
Cobalt-As of when you answer this question, who do you think is the scummiest person?
CMAR- What would you say your normal playstyle is (such as lurking a lot, talkitive, etc.)
DDD- Do you, like me, feel a strong urge to answer some of the questions even though we're not supposed to.
Dragons- What experiance have you had on this site or other similar sites. Meaning, how many games, how many were you town, scum, 3rd party etc.
Ellibereth-Would you consider yourself to be "pro-town"
farside-What is your opinions on policy lynches, when is it ok, not ok etc.
kirby-If you were to make a huge mistake when claiming but no one noticed but you, would you fix it if it would hurt you if it did?
Neto-Have you played any mafia games in a non-forum style (such as chatroom or RL)
Sanhora- What are you're overall opinions on this setup. What do you like, what don't you like etc.

Why would you ask trivia when in the sign-up queue I said you need no general knowledge to participate?

Discussion is restricted to:

A) Questions
B) Answers
C) Voting

Anything which comes under none of the above is forbidden. As is doing something which doesn't fit the current stage you are in:

e.g. answering a question in the voting stage.

I'll work on that. I typically ask a question with a back to that question so it's difficult keep a question cut and dry.
