I mentioned a scum role that could manipulate CP like a billion times to cast doubt on burn results.

Yeah, that would work.

Although I still think the mechanic has promise, I don't think we learned as much from it as we could've due to factors beyond our control (The1fifi).

If I come back to it (or if anyone else wants to use it or a varation of it, please be my guest), it won't be for some time. I have a few different ideas swirling around my head.

The mechanic is a lot cuter if you know the relation it has to Valkyria Chronicles. I'm disappointed you dropped the flavor. :(

Cruc could've been Selvaria, after all. :P

I thought of a plan in my sleep:

The day Cobalt burned?

We could have:

Had Cobalt burn TEN points, the max, and then we lynch him.

If he was town, lynch fails (no lynch) we go to 4p the next day. REPEAT THE PLAN.

Since he was scum, lynch woulda worked.

GG.

Damn my not creative thinking.

You're forgetting the part where Cobalt was a contingency and McGriddle was assumed to be scum.

Nah, he's talking about the last time. His plan would've worked AFAIK.

Actually, that works in general, provided it's possible to hit cap with a burn. Having the player to be lynched burn extravagantly toward endgame makes it impossible to mislynch.
