Blerrrgh.

Getting NKed on N1 was really disappointing. We decided to go with the Kise vig, as we thought he was using the "too mimey to be mime" strategy. We also thought that xRx wasn't scummy enough to warrant the vig.

Well played scum, especially the last day. I really can't believe that flinter got away with placing a vote so early.

Also thanks to VP Baltar for a great setup. This is the first game I've seen with any jester-like mechanics that wasn't just a big, unrewarding pain; it actually made for some really interesting interactions and strategies. The biggest hole I can see in the setup is if one of the mimes is NKed N1; the other mime would be playing a game they couldn't win, and that would suck. I'd consider a harder, but still possible, alternate win condition, publicly known, that would be activated in case their partner was NKed - they would win if they were the first available lynch after both the mafia died, otherwise the game ends with a town victory.

Wish I could take credit, but it was designed by Adel. I do think it is something different however, so I was happy to mod it.

yeah, auto-losing like that as mime would be annoying and I was glad to see that it didn't happen.

Your recommendation might be something you want to take to the open setup discussion thread. Since this game setup seems to be constantly evolving every time it's run, may as well make your mark!

Yeah, XScorpion was actually the only player who seemed to be on the right track as the game went on, but I think the scum kept him around because his earlier willingness to be lynched made it so the rest of the town wouldn't listen to him.

+1 for not reading your role PM, I guess. Even if it was unintentional.

urgh, I really thought I had a chance after dryfit was lynched and the vig was killed. I figured you goons would be mime-hunting, and I figured reck and scorpion were doing a good job pretending to be mime for me ;)

Looker, why did you kill me, just out of curiosity?

I initially hated getting the mime role. Instead of playing the loljesterlynchme strategy, I decided to just scumhunt instead. Unfortunately, I typically get nked early in games as town, so I didn't want to look so town as to get nked, but I was genuinely scum hunting. When dryfit was lynched and the vig killed, D2 was all me being entirely pro-town and scum hunting. I hoped my V/LA would be enough to keep me from being nked.

ah well... good job looker. You were the last I expected to be scum. I sort of thought 1 of flinter or hito could be scum, and I was all but certain xofelf was scum o_O

And, basically, I had a gut feeling flinter was scum but I was all "Meh, I don't really care". I wish I had paid more attention to this game because it was an awesome setup with an awesome mod and awesome players. I just took on too many games at once *sigh*

Yes, actually I have just signed up to run my mini-theme Gonzo Mafia. Based on the the writings of Hunter S. Thompson. It might be awhile off depending on how fast the queue moves, but pre-/ins are welcome.

Some unique mechanics will be in the game, but it is balanced and has been thoroughly reviewed. Certainly not as crazy as a Tar game or something of that nature.
