Mini 895 - The Eek Farm - Game Over

[My Milked Eek]

What's an Eek? I have no idea.

The milk of Eeks is very delicious and wanted by nearly everyone. A few people started Eek farms and started selling the milk the Eeks produce. These companies make a lot of money and as such are an easy target for jealous entrepreneurs and greedy mafiosi.

This is the story of a small farm of 12 employees who found their boss dead. There are infiltrators among them and they're out for blood. Will the employees get rid of these mafiosi? Or will the company have new owners?

Game Rules:

(heavily borrowed from Kublai Khan)

General:

1. This is a game. Have fun.
   
2. Be nice to other players. they are real people, not your mortal enemies.
   
3. Rules subject to amendment as I realize I forgot stuff.
   
4. You may not quote private Moderator-supplied information (either real or fabricated) of any kind. Paraphrasing (for role claims, etc.) is acceptable.
   
5. There is to be NO personal communication outside of the forum postings unless your role PM specifically allows it.
   
6. If you have a role with a Night action your choices are due to me by the posted deadline. If I do not receive your choice via PM by the posted deadline you will do nothing.
   
7. Any player with a Night action may instead submit a “No Action” PM to let the me know that you do not want to perform your expected action that Night phase.
   
8. After all players have confirmed, there will be a 24-hour period for any group(s) with the ability to night talk to confer. There will no night actions allowed during this period.

Voting, Deadlines, and Player Death:

1. A simple majority of all living members must agree on one person for a Lynch to occur (simple majority = ½ # of living players +1, rounded down).
   
2. Once you have reached a simple majority no further unvoting will change someone’s fate.
   
3. Please submit votes as:
   Vote: PlayerName
   . Unvotes aren't really necessary.
   
4. Getting cute with trick voting may result in modkilling.
   
5. You may
   Vote: No Lynch
   - a simple majority of these vote types are required to send the game to Night phase without a Lynch.
   
6. Deadlines will be implemented if I feel that discussion is lagging. At deadline, whomever has the most votes will be lynched. In the case of a tie, the person who reached the tie number first will be lynched. If noone has a vote at deadline, a No Lynch will occur.
   
7. Once a player is lynched the game enters twilight until I post a death scene; all living players, including the lynched player, may continue to post until the thread is locked.
   
8. Once you are killed (either via lynch or night kill) you may no longer post except for a brief “Bah!”-type post.

Miscellaneous/Mechanics:

1. Red text is reserved for the Mod. No invisible/small text is allowed.
   
2. Votecounts will be posted once every 2 real life days or when requested.
   
3. If you have an issue/problem with the game, please PM me. Do not post issues/complaints in the game thread.
   
4. I may make mistakes - please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
   
5. Please bold all requests to the Mod so that they don’t get missed.
   
6. Prods will be sent on request or after 3 days of inactivity. If I have to prod you more than 3 times, I may just replace you. Not picking up a prod or responding to a prod in 24 hours also results in a replacement.
   
7. Rules violations will be dealt with according to their severity, up to and including a Modkill. Modkills may be accompanied by a change to day/night.
   
8. If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.

Why do you believe I lie? I mean, no one is CORRECT all the time, but that doesn't mean I need to lie (since that denotes a purposeful act). I might say something that you interpret as untrue, but I'll never purposefully say something that is actually a lie.

It's not a lie because if I were town but I am actually scum, then the conditional isn't met anyway, so the second part is irrelevant. If that's hard to conceptualize, imagine a more complete sentence, "If I am town, I am a cop. But if I am not town, I am not a cop"

Also, I won't answer questions if they'd implicate me if I were scum. For example, if you ask me if I'm a member of the mafia, I'll say I won't answer it.

In any case, my favorite role to play is Day Vigil. So much power.
