Are you out of your mind!? This post clearly makes the assumption that scum would necessarily tailor other scum. If I were tailored and I were town, I wouldn't want the cop to die; I would want the tailor to die.

The tailor, based on my understanding, targets someone at night and that makes their target appear innocent to cop investigation.

You know since being hammered, Farside hasn't bothered to come on and tell us who she thinks we should go after next.
Probably a good sign that she's not going to flip town.

The way I read the tailor description in post 1 of the game, I take it to mean that the tailor can either make a townie look like scum or make a scum look like a townie.

Indeed. She hasn't protested her lynch at all, and she hasn't said a word about who we should look to next "once she flips town" as one would expect if we have mislynched.

To clarify:
1. I'm back but I want to clarify the role information based on my understanding.
The Mafia tailor works as a Framer.
It makes townies appears guilty to the cop, and makes mafia innocent to the cop. It's a target ability therefore it can frame a townie as scum, or scum as townie.
Which is why I said:

The town wakes up in the morning, congratulating them selves on finding scum so early in the game. But aghast a bloody sight was displayed on the town square.
Jazzmyn was disfigured by billions of tiny papercuts, with blood oozing on the street. You determine that he was paper cutted to death by tiny postit notes that have been littered around the body.
Unfortunately this was a heavy hit to the town when you uncovered
a badge in his vest.
Jazzmyn - Townie Cop - was cut to death by post it notes night two.

Also I'm trying to zero in on a third scum, but one isn't really screaming out at me at the moment.
My gut's saying either Suave or SC.
I think Nikanor, Kittymo, and Xscorpion are town.
Might have this narrowed down enough in my mind to be comfortable lynching everyone else.
