well, let me re-read the thread. I know I havn't really focused on anyone else atm, so I'll try and catch up. it's just a little rough, I'm working a seasonal job, on top of my regular job, so bear with me.

about me being a doc who didn;t want to claim. I pretty much did claim right before I was hammered. I mean... it was pretty obvious. like most of the other people got the hint.

1. Jason has responded to the prod but hasn't posted in game yet. I will prod him again.

2. I have a back up replacement for Jason lined up. He/she/it/dragon will be ready to jump in if Jason doesn't post.

3. I will be late to lock the deadline in today, but consider the extra hours a blessing. I'll try and do it 12:00 AM MST for the 25th. Thats mountain standard time. I am 2 hours behind on GMT time.

IE: The fourm says 12:00 I live in 10:00 land. :p

Vote Count:

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

post 247 is quintessential zachplay. The entirety of his game is mild-mannered, slightly peeved self-deflection.

unvote, vote zach

suave is fine too, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Lowell, you pretty much admitted in your last post that you haven't really played well and you haven't even made a good case toward why you shouldn't be lynched aside from a promise to play better tomorrow, as if we should all ignore your play today.

That is more ridiculous than the wagon on me. (Where none of the voters has an actual justified reason to be voting for me, and the wagon is actually being helped from a vote that was cast on me from the RVS.)

The choice between us really shouldn't be that hard.

When the hell does bad play or lurking in themselves = scummy? Lowell wagon STILL makes no sense to me.

Zach has actually committed scumtells such self-deflection and abrasiveness. They're so much weaker compared to farside's which actually make sense, and others which I'm picking up on, such as nhammen, who has scum reads on all the prominent wagons for reasons that don't actually seem like they're describing scummy behavior so much as trivial discrepancies.

Third pick, eh, XScorpion. Not a fan of the WIFOM spewing overall, and while he mistakenly said two scum were in this game, I think that could be WIFOM warfare as well. Could be nhammen's distance, indeed.

Zach is more a fourth choice.

I would not be livid if No Lynch occurred. I think town is horrifically off in their judgment, and I don't think we even lose any mislynches. We have LyLo instead of MyLo if we NL'd and then whiffed on the next two lynches. But any alive cops will have one more investigation in that case.

There's absolutely no statistical downside. Take the NL now or D3. If it means more time to think about this instead of haphazardly running into a brick wall, I'd rather take it now.

Unvote, Vote: No Lynch

BTW, self-deflection = scumtell... abrasiveness, no. Abrasiveness is a personality tell. Unless you have meta for the player, then it isn't a scumtell.

And I would personally prefer a zach lynch over a Lowell lynch. But I could provide the 5th vote on Lowell, which is why I changed my vote.

yabba speaks sense. With two cops out there it's important not to lynch a power-role on D1. The field will begin to open up a little on D2.

"Townie 1: We should lynch Lowell, he's obviously not wearing the right kind of tweed. Its faux paux Tweedom brand.

Townie 2: Suave should be killed. Did you see what he's wearing under that coat. It's silk! I swear it. I think he's a silk wearer!

Townie 3: SILK! ZOMG 0_0. That's even worse then cotton!

Townie 4: Yoh guyz, don you think Zach was acting weird today. It looked like he didn't like the tweed underpants I gave him. No tweedian would ever hate the super deluxe itchy ones I gave him. Those are super hard to get!

More discussion occurred but the town couldn't decide what to do, or who to kill. The day ended and everyone went back to bed to sleep it off. Hopefully things will resolve tomorrow.

I've decided to replace Jason due to his inactivity. Although he has contacted be through PM, he did not post in thread which he said he would.

Please welcome Jazzmyn, the wonderful backup. I am extending night by an additional 24 hours, which means night will end on 28/12/09 when I have received all the night actions and/or the end of the day comes earlier.

Wouldn't it be better to think of the possible motives for yabbaguy's death first?

I tend to find that night-kill speculation just leads to WIFOM and nothing useful for town. If you want to discuss it, go ahead, but I'm still gonna put my vote back where it was. As for yabbaguy, I'm convinced that his death was as simple as him being seen by scum as the most pro-town player.

I'm much more interested in if there were any successful investigations (indicating scum).

Don't really think it's going to be helpful, and will actually be a very easy way to distract from actual scum hunting.

With that said, I'm still liking Lowell for scum.

Any chance we should do some sort of mass copclaim situation? Can we use two cops to our advantage here or what?
