The BaM Ruleset: (stolen/modified from Xyl)

1.) Votes must be

bolded

and at the start of a line. If we don’t see it, we wont count it.
2.) Unvoting is nice, but not necessary.
3.) Once a majority is reached, that person is lynched.
4.) If there is no majority at deadline, there will be no lynch for that day.
5.) Day 1 will have an approximated deadline based on when the game starts – it will be no less than a week.

All following days will have a deadline of 7 days.

6.) Nights will have 48 hours maximum. Any night actions not submitted will simply not happen – the thread should be open 48 hours following a deadline lynch.
7.) Do not talk about this game outside the thread unless your role allows you to.

8.) When you die, you are dead. Stay that way.

9.) Do not edit posts. Do not use invisible text. Do not use small text.
10.) Do not quote any communication from the mod (that includes PMs) in the game thread.
11.) If you are going to be gone for an extended period of time, please let me know. See rule 12.
12.)

If you do not post for a full deadline game day you will be modkilled. Further, you will be blacklisted from any future games using the BaM ruleset. Keep in mind that there are no replacements in a BaM ruleset game.

13.) If you notice mistakes aside from the vote count, PM me. Bold notification about vote count issues in the thread.
14.) Play to win.
15.) Play with the spirit of the game in mind.
15.a.) This means ASK before you do something you think I might question. Questions are good. Modkills are bad. See rule 12.
16.) Have fun. Remember that everyone playing are actually real people and treat them as such.

Game specific rules.

1) Everyone has 4 movie roles to choose from. Each role has it own advantages or disadvantages.
2) Each night, starting with pre-night, all alive players pick a new role.
3) You can only pick a previously picked role, if you've already picked all rolls.

4)There are 4 states you can be in:

-Free

: Everything is dandy

-Jailed

: You lose the right to vote, and you can't use any powers outside the jail, nor can anyone kill you. You can still talk, and choose a new role each night. (Some roles will lack abilities, tho)

-Dead

: Neither role nor alignment will be revealed. What happens next is for dead eyes only.

-Beyond

: Role will be revealed. You are released from the game.

5) Everything else is pretty straightforward, except it's maybe not. Do not be afraid to ask questions.

7) Unless otherwise stated, assume any powers can only be used at night. But feel free to ask if you are unsure (or just really wanna use your power during day)

A Mafia pet peeve of mine is when someone calls something scummy in the RVS stage that isn't actually scummy. Not that I think DragonsofSummer just committed a scum tell, but hell, any excuse to get out of the RVS and into the actually game.

Hello, fellow actors. I realize the game has just recently started, however I have some topics for us to discuss.

1.

First of all, i'm unsure of whether scum will have actors that are usually one of the villains in the movies they act in, or whether they will have regular actor characters. I'm also unsure if the movies they play in are indicative of alignment, such as starring as villains in their movies. Therefore,

Do you think the scum will have villain acting-roles in the movies they have been provided with?

2.

Second of all, I feel that my name/movies, as well as the Will Smith example one reveal nothing about what our movie roles can do. There is also a chance that scum have actor names/movies in which they are the antagonist in their movie. In my opinion, claiming our names/movies doesn't reveal anything about what they can do, and may prevent scum from having enough time to fake an actor/movies. Therefore,

Are you against a full actor name/movies starred-in claim?
