About me:
I am 30 years old. I am married to my awesome husband Marc (Moratorium on this site). We have a three-year old daughter named Isabelle. I will soon graduate from college with a degree in Computer Science and I work in the software development field.
Where are you from?
Alabama...let the jokes begin
What is your best skill?
Juggling work, school, family, mafiascum, and keeping up with all my T.V. shows I love (thank God for DVR).
What's your best accomplishment on MafiaScum?
I would probably say finishing Cowboy Bebop without quiting. I had a lot of people on my back for being a miller and I wasn't handling it very well. I stuck it out and we won...was very happy I did too because it was a little mini accomplishment for me to get over my temper.
What is your hobby?
I guess playing video games although it has had a steep decline in recent years since my daughter was born.
What's the most important thing in a friend?
As someone who has had friends that I have fallen out of touch with I would probably have to say making an effort to keep in touch.
What's the most important thing in a co-worker?
Being able to communicate and not being a slacker
Do you have any long-term project? Which one?
I am one semester away from FINALLY graduating college
What other internet sites do you recommend us?
Just a quick look at my favorites... CNN.com, ESPN.com, Youtube.com,Mafiascum.net, ...the rest you probably wouldn't be interested in. (Could I be more generic?)
Best thing about being a Mafia player?
When the game ends or a flip occurs and you realize you were right about someone being scum. Although, if you couldn't convince your teammates that the person was scum it is bittersweet.
Could you please tell us a joke?
This one is by Demetri Martin...my favorite comedian:
“I like clothes, you know. I dig fabrics. One of my favorite clothing patterns is camouflage. Because when you’re in the woods it makes you blend in. But when you’re not it does just the opposite. It’s like, ‘Hey, there’s an asshole.’ But when you’re in the woods you’re like, ‘Is there an asshole out here?’ They look like trees.”
You have $20k and a big house. Would you host a Meet? If yes, who would you invite first?
In this hypothetical situation, I might host a small meet (5 or so people). I would most definately invite Vi!
How would your funeral be like?
Small and short and hopefully in about 70 years.
Where would you travel first with $10k USD?
I would go to France/Italy/England to see the historical/art sites. Then maybe Japan because my husband has always wanted to go.
What is your biggest fear?
Something bad happening to my daughter
Can you speak anything in spanish?
Very little....not even enough to communicate
What language(s) do you speak?
English of course and a bit of French that I have picked up from my husband/daughter.
What is your favorite word?
love. Why isn't this in the favorite section?
What is your least favorite word?
well, I guess I will have to go with "hate" here.
What turns you on?
My husband...of course, but if you are looking for a trait or something I would have to say a good sense of humor.
What turns you off?
Arrogance
What sound do you love?
The peace and quiet of my house right after my husband and daughter leave for work/daycare. It goes from loud and chaotic to stone silence.
What sound do you hate?
The alarm clock beeping
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
At times I have thought being an interior decorator would be fun.
What profession would you not like to participate in?
Anything that would require me to work long hours and be away from my family
What's your favorite curse word?
I guess the one I say the most is "Damnit!"
If heaven exists what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
You were a good mother.
Favorite...
...alcoholic drink?Don't drink
...non-alcoholic drink?Pepsi
...food?Mexican...burritos specifically
...ice cream flavor?Godiva has a vanilla with Caramel filled chocolate chunks I like
...holiday?Christmas
...pet?Dog
...musician (yes, includes composers and performers)?Paolo Nutini
...movie?Tough one...I'll say V for Vendetta but I have tons of favorites.
...actor?Kevin Spacey or Ewan McGreggor
...actress?I don't really have a favorite actress
...mafia role?I have never played it but probably Bus Driver
...mafia alignment?Town. although I think I am better as Mafia
...card game?Standard Cards: Spades, Nonstandard Cards: Munchkin
...online activity?Reading news (both world/national and gossip sites :p)
...game (pen-and-paper, electronic or whatever)?Final Fantasy X

The town I live in, Huntsville, is the cleanest, most diverse, smartest town in Alabama. I wouldn't live anywhere else in Alabama because everywhere else is dirty and ran down. We have the Space and Rocket Center (where everyone goes to space camp), NASA, and several military contracts. It's a very government/technology-based town.

Worst job would be when I worked at Dick's Sporting Goods as a cashier. Low pay, terrible hours, always understaffed, and the staff they had (minus me of course) had the IQ of a goldfish...combined.

I was a role called Town Postman in Communique Mafia where I had 3 packages to send to three different players but I didn't know what they were. It was kinda interesting. Plus that game had an interesting message passing system where we could send one person a message under 20 characters per night.charter wrote:Oh my god! I hate alarm clock beeping too!

Are you originally from Alabama or did you move there?
Did you hear ol' Neil put her down? Do they really love the governor in Birmingham? Do "Swampers" pick you up when you're feeling blue?
I was not born in Alabama but have lived here since I was 6 months old. So I am definately "from" here.
Sweet home Alabama questions:
I don't know all the details about the song...but I know "Neil" is Neil Young although I am not sure what he did? And I am guessing the Birmingham/Governor thing is in reference to George Wallace not letting the African Americans to attend University there. I have no idea what a "Swamper" is...are you sure that is the lyric...google.....well, you are right. Still don't know what it is and I grew up about 30 minutes from Muscle Shoals.-------------------------------------

Moratorium is not playing Mafia anymore. He has a bad habit of playin something, getting me interested, and then quitting on me.
Nope. I haven't played that game. What type is it? I typically like MMORPG's like FFXI . I played WoW for a bit but it was too damn easy. I even got into raiding...but then it was just a matter of being available at a certain time and that was not possible with a little one. I also like games that have a story like FFX or Resident Evil or something to that effect. Playing Vi's game makes me want to play Fire Emblem but I don't have a Wii anymore (it broke:()VP Baltar wrote:Neil Young had a song called "Southern Man", which I think is actually much better than Sweet Home Alabama...but I'm biased because I love Neil Young.

Yeah...my husband has since told me it was something to do with Pulp Fiction...I just couldn't hear the Samuel L. Jackson voice when I read it and its been a while since I have seen it.
...I am proud of the way my life has went. It has taken some unexpected turns and had some twists of fate but it all worked out for the best in the end. It was a simple life but one filled with lots of smiles and unforgetable moments. I am so happy to have had a long and wonderful marriages to my husband and to have had such wonderful children.dahill1 wrote:What would the 276th page of your 300 page autobiography look like? The End.
The next 24 pages would be filled with pictures of me writing the 276th page of my 300 page autobiography.
I am not familiar with Lambert's. There is a Landry's seafood restaurant here but I don't know if you visited one while you were here or if you just like it or something...Vi wrote:I don't think Rhinox is around any more For a while I thought Jahudo left too...

How do you choose your avatars? (I see a theme, but I want to hear it from you )
I do have a job as a software developer.
As for avatars...I don't really set out to have a theme so much. My first avatar was of some blonde chick encouraging people to vote. It was two fold...1) we were in the middle of the U.S. presidential election and 2) one of the tenants of mafia was voting. The next one was my return to mafia scum after quitting. It was of Veronica from Archie as a devil. I literally googled "Devil Girl"...after all the pornographic images I finally found it. I thought it was sweet, yet evil. It kinda summed up what I try to accomplish in mafia. People (men) will often look the other way if they know you are a female on the other end of the keyboard...it worked to my advantage. My next avatar was of Faye Valentine. I love Faye Faye and we had just finished Cowboy Bebop. I probably would have kept Faye but then I started getting lynched (which had never happened before) so I changed to break the losing streak. I temporarily had Lulu from FFXI because she is one of my favorite characters and I liked that she was dark yet good. And finally, my current one is because I am modding Dexter. It is Debra Morgan and it was cool looking. It was between her and Laguerta and I prefer Debra.
Long story short, it started out as cute yet evil and moved to more dark but good characters. So, yeah...I guess I do have a little bit of a theme going on.-------------------------------------
