Given the news of the show coming back in 2016, would people be interested in playing a Samurai Jack themed game?

I'd totally be down for a Samurai Jack themed game. The theme itself sounds like it has a ton of potential for inspiring an interesting set-up.

Any interest in a Rick & Morty-themed game? Mini or Large depending on show of hands - I'm qualified to run either and I'm already thinking up a setup. Anybody who'd like to co-mod / review or something-other-than-play can PM me or whatever.

I had been designing a Rick and Morty theme game for awhile now (large) and it had a good deal of support when the idea was pitched. I know it's been done before (I think Untrod Tripod ran a mini?) but people enjoy the flavor and nothing has been run with content representing Season 2 or Pocket Mortys.

That said, I'd love to help you on the design end, because it's a game I'd love to run, but I just haven't had the time between all the other games of mine.

I searched the thread and the archived wiki lists of themes before asking, so it's a shame that passed me by. I'd definitely be incorporating Season 2 stuff, and a bunch of Pocket Morty references. If the other(s) were run long enough ago that nothing from Season 2 was in them, then I'd be totally up for designing some kind of spiritual sequel, but I'd rather not repeat a theme outright or steal this out from under you, unless you'd like to see it run even if you don't have the time to do it yourself.

EDIT: Do you have a link to the other game that was run, by any chance?

EBWODP: Vars, did you mean this game by Antihero? It looks like the setup was interesting; I'm going to get in touch with him.

I suppose so.
Maybe Untrod was just designing a setup? Regardless, I remember getting together with him to build a Rick and Morty game and it never panned out.
Don't worry about stealing thunder, haha. I've got about 10 different theme games I want to run right now and my Rick and Morty game is still in the conceptual level.
If you'd like me to be on the design side of things, I would enjoy that, but I don't know if/when I'll have the time to actually run the game (handling VCs, role pms, night actions, general moderation, etc.) and I'd like to see a game run that incorporates Season 2.

I've got a thousand and one cool ideas for a rick and morty theme game but it'd be a huge undertaking and I couldn't run it myself any time soon, I suppose, is what I'm saying. I know how I'd run it as well as what special mechanics would be there. If anything, I'd like to pitch all these to you as things to put in your game. :3

I'm on site chat and could do QT / IRC too, if you'd prefer. :)
If you don't have as much time as I do right now, maybe PM is best though.

I'd like to run a large theme Civilization 5 UPick, but as of right now I am rusty in the modding and setup department, so i'm looking for someone with experience running UPicks to help me either design the game or co-mod it with me!
- I think I found a helper, thank you!

I'm definitely up for that Rick and Morty game, regardless of who designs it.

Interested in Rick and Morty for sure.

Is anyone interested in a Spring Awakening theme?

If you're not familiar, Spring Awakening is a musical/play set in 1891 Germany. It tells the story of a group of teenagers dealing with their coming-of-age in a repressive culture ruled by their elders.

Had a little insomnia last night and while I tossed and turned I invented a game based on The Purge movies. If you haven't seen them, the idea is that, to reduce population, the government authorizes an annual purge - 12 hours during which law is suspended and murder is allowed.

- Anyone interested?
- It's an open setup, can I post it here or is that against some protocol?

There's no protocol against it. Maybe link to a setup wiki page, if you feel like making one...? Setup specifics might be more suited to the New Setup Review thread if you're more interested in talking setup than theme.

So, I was wondering about this somewhen, now I may have the time for it.

Anyone interestes in a GTA2 role madness game?

I've started work on a large theme based on musical theatre. The response from those I've talked to has been strong, but how interested would the general population of the site be?

The flavor would be character driven. Basically, it'd be a mash-up of some of the best characters ever conceived for musical theatre.

Has there ever been a Hotline Miami themed game? Also is there a way to search for threads anywhere?

Musical mafia sounds awesome. Phantom of the Opera and Christine Daae lovers, Elphaba and Glinda masons, too many ideas. Have fun making that.

On another note, would there be interest in a game based on The Thing?
