1. Votes must be bolded and at the start of a line. If I don’t see it, I wont count it.
   
2. Unvoting is nice, but not necessary.
   
3. Once a majority is reached, that person is lynched.
   
4. If there is no majority at deadline, there will be no lynch for that day.
   
5. Day 1 will have an approximated deadline based on when the game starts – it will be no less than 10 days. All following days will have a deadline of 10 days (240 hours, give or take).
   
6. Nights will have 72 hours maximum. Any night actions not submitted will simply not happen.
   
7. Do not talk about this game outside the thread unless you have one of the roles that allows you to.
   
8. When you die, you are dead. Stay that way.
   
9. Do not edit posts. Do not use invisible text. Do not use small text.
   
10. Do not quote any communication from the mod (that includes PMs) in the game thread.
    
11. If you are going to be gone for an extended period of time, please let me know. See rule 12.
    
12. If you do not post for a full deadline game day you will be modkilled. Further, you will be blacklisted from any future games I run.
    
13. If you notice mistakes aside from the vote count, PM me. Bold notification about vote count issues in the thread.
    
14. Play to win.
    
15. Play with the spirit of the game in mind.

In this simple town, everything was routine. The people were pleasant and regular, and deviancy was unheard of. Everyone woke up at 6, went to work at 9, were home by 5:30, had a nice safe dinner, watched the late show (but not too late), and went to bed by 11.

But then the trouble started...

At first it was small things; a speeding ticket here, an un-capped toothpaste tube there, but then it got worse. Soon, kids were staying up to watch 'Live at the Improve', and mom and dad were out till all hours. Dads started missing league night at the bowling alley, and moms began ordering Chinese food instead of pizza.

Some folks think it's judgment day. Some say it's because of video games. But we, who know better, say it's because of the Mafia.

The Mafia, with their deviant ways, have infiltrated this peaceful town and corrupted it at it's core.

It's up to YOU to decide the fate of this town, and, as usual, there are only two solutions; Lynching and Murder.

So I got a quick question. I've played two newbie games on this forum so far, but many mafia-like games on other forums. Anyways in the newbie games there are 7 townies and 2 mafia members... Do we know how many mafia to town there are in these 12 person mini games?

Ben, assume it to be proportional to a degree. In 12, 3 or 4 (or 1 more or less depending on the amount of power roles, etc) is a safe assumption.

Now, with this facist modrule set (seriously, who would USE such a thing) I can see the delight in a speed lynch. I mean, hey, who wants day 1 to end faster than I do, right?

In this setup, lurkers will be modkilled. Modkilling, regardless of alignment, will reduce your ability to win.

Lurking, therefore, should UNANIMOUSLY be condemned in this setup.

Of course, the mod is nice enough to eliminate the true lurkers - I am more worried about the lurkers that post that once or twice a day to avoid the above.
