FTB is a new launcehr you download FTB.exe and run it like minecraft.exe anyone who is bad at modding can use it EASILY

Some of the things in FTB are super intriguing but others are not. Like if I'm going to play with mods, I want to play with the mods I want to play with, aka SSP. If one got started up I might give it a chance though.
Well you don't have to do everything all at once. Sure there new ores and stuff for some mods and a few generated things, but you can pick and choose what you mess with.

It really is insanely easy to use, especially if you don't want to add any of your own mods.
Download the .exe > run it > select the pack > hit launch
That's literally all there is to it.

Step 1:
Download Feed The Beast Launcher.

Step 2:
Choose MindCrack Pack (V6) Minecraft Version 1.4.6
Step 3: Click "Select Profile" and choose "Create Profile", type your login details and hit save.
Step 4: Hit Launch
Step 5: Wait while it downloads and installs the nitty gritty for you.
Step 6: Click "Multiplayer"
Step 7: Click "Add Server" in the box labeled IP Address, type:
