And what does that conclusion even mean? Absolutely nothing. You have not said anything that helps anyone figure out who is scum, just made arbitrary pairings amongst everyone that isn't you.

Not to say a word in Shy Guy's favour or anything, but this statement by armlx is just flat out wrong. Regardless of whether Shy Guy is actually correct or not (obv. not, Shy Guy is scum ) highlighting/eliminating certain pairings does help eventually deduce the mafia pair and given the amount of arguments (false or otherwise) made by Shy Guy they're hardly 'arbitrary'.

Except he hightlighted EVERYONE as possible scum. I don't see how that is remotely useful.

I think the argument is although he did highlight everyone as scum they've been grouped due to connections he's seen .

So, really, all he's done is say that it is NOT:

SG/Anyone
Arm/Nameless
Adel/Zeek

That, really, doesn't help us move forward in any way.

Yeah, but we could care less about who the pair is if we find one scum group. That's my main focus.

It is like one of those logic puzzles, where you have the statements and then a matrix to help you work it out. In theory you could break it down... speaking of which, whatever happened to that stuff we gave Adel?

All in all, it was useless to the extent of "Everyone but me could be mafia" so worse, but the idea of "These pairs make more sense" is going to be an avenue we will persue.

I concur, but I don't think giving him credit for the feasible pairings counteracts the former.

As for the scummiest pair... hm. I don't know how useful it is to vote based on pairs, as you all you have to do is hit one scum and the rest fall down. I guess you can read their interactions with each other, though.

I wish Skruffs would make his post, but other than that there really hasn't been much recently to pique my interest. Shy Guy's "inquiry" of me was so obviously an attack that it just isn't funny - especially so considering the amount of stretching he was doing. His behaviour apart from that seems pretty townish, though.

In summary, I just don't know.

I was going to but time constraints prevented me from being able to at the time. I figured I might as well make some kind of post to help pick up the activity level.

I will attempt to have another read of the thread tonight; I most likely will not complete it until tomorrow.

Chiming in to say that as someone is fairly sure they know who the scum is (Shy Guy, Adel) but is too lazy to reread and search through the entire thread, a deadline to get everybody else talking would be something I selfishly support.

In summary, I just don't know.

I think I liked Firestarter as my lover more.
