Or shoot him ;)
Join me on my quest to play every NES game! Some of them are awful.

Kuribo's read is foolproof: one night he was high on NyQuil, and he's ancestors reveiled Aureal's alignment to him. - Dessew

I'll give you full insight into my thought process after work. I really don't see a problem though, it worked out exactly as intended.

In post 855, penguin_alien wrote:It's pretty funny that scum kept NKing people who would have supported non-scum lynches.
Because their strongest member was lynched day two. ;)

If Desty's guilty had been on any other member of the scumteam, the game would have gone significantly differently than it had. I would have known to nightkill Desty immediately, rather than roleblock him and nightkill a player who I
specifically said in the mafia QT should be left alive
. Desty would have died a day earlier, Lordy would have had better coaching on what to claim, and I would have been in a much stronger position myself.

The claims definitely ate them alive during that scuffle. A 2 for 1 cop exchange - pretty excellent for the town.

My claim served a purpose. It revealed what Desty's power role was, and placed my scumbuddy in a position where their claim was favorable. Had they done the strategically-correct play of killing Desty and blocking someone else, and had Lordy not botched the claimed target on D3, then we would have been in a position to win. A 2 for 1 exchange is excellent for the town, but a 1 for 1 exchange would not have been as good.

Lordy's claim of being a jailkeeper was excellent. Lordy's claim of target come D3 was where he went wrong. Similarly, ratty's claim fit well, but the claim of having flavor was a mess-up.

My claim went exactly as I had planned it to, given the circumstances. I had no way of anticipating that my scumbuddies would mess things up as they did after that.

Eh I can see the tactics involved but had you picked someone other than N64 to claim a guilty on, you may have had more luck.
