You should be able to get 80fps with just a 280x. I was assuming you were trolling. Or maybe you have a crappy CPU or something.

No... Well, cpu is old, built it, ironically for Skyrim 3 years ago (i7-2600k) but it is not my bottleneck..

In other words, going to play Race The Sun for a bit... so.. laugh at me as I die to polygons..

so after making all that fuss about civ V I can't play anymore since it won't run on my personal machine and I no longer have the work computer that could run it (cause lol new job)

I am trying to learn the foibles of Civ V. I used to play Civ IV a lot (like a lot). I've not played a lot of Civ V so we'll see how I actually get along with it once I can figure out policies and stuff a bit better.
