Also, most of all, thank you Zorblag for taking the game over after Stef flaked!

The second no-kill was because nobody submitted one. The first was was half strategy. Nacho argued that no-kill was the best option because it'd validate his claim (which it did) and even though I was a little unhappy at the time with no-killing, it turned out great. The second no-kill there just was none submitted, so it wasn't strategy. It was pure coincidence and luck that Espy protected me and we ended up with no NK, which validated me as town.

Nacho already said this, but I also want to say that there was too little scum-hunting and more process of elimination

I was protecting post 110, Nacho's "I am town aligned" post. It still doesn't matter :P

@Town on my wagon: Why were you on it? Seriously, I caught jimfinn and was onto Zero.

In all fairness, though, I would have never guessed nacho was scum.

Nacho played a good game. No killing night 1 really set you up for a good run, what other conclusion was I supposed to come to.

Well played to scum as a whole.

DAMN!... SoW, why didn't you follow my strategy? It was so obvious that Narsis was town.

I do not know. Sorry. I did nothing but confuse the game. It was a poor performance on my part. But, I was close on Nacho. I should have just went for him.

My problem was selecting the obvious lie. I needed to select something else. But, How was I supposed to know. I knew something was wrong, I just did not know what.

I think we would have possibly had better chances if we did not loose two town players to inactivity. Especially because I confirmed Robbnva. But, I was starting to question all my targets.

As for the set-up, I think town's power was too concentrated in the vig (yeah, I'm a little sour about it). If I reviewed this set-up, I would have told Stef to:

1) Ditch the survivor (that's the worst role...ever).
2) Make Ben Reynolds into a regular vig (the role doesn't fit with the flavor anyway).
3) Turned Ria Torres into a regular tracker.
4) Given the mafia a ninja (immune to tracker).
5) Make Cal Lightman a Lie Detector.
6) Make Foster a JK.

Well, the DOC was designed to be tampered with. And, the Vig obviously got tampered with too. I think the Vig was reasonable to a small extent, but the DOC was not. Too many ways the town PR confused the game towards a scum win and not towards a town win. There was no way to know that you had to out guess the MAFIA on selecting a LIE. That made the Mafia too powerful. Especially with three mafia. Town really had little to no power once the Vig was out in the open, and had to choose wether to say his target or not.

BTW, if I designed the game, I would have forced the SCUM to lie. And, I would have HINTED that the PR needed to be THOUGHTFUL in selecting a LIE to detect.

SoW, it's impossible to get through a game as mafia without lying.

ISO #2, #3, #4, #11 are all lies.
ISO #25 is bursting with them.

You get the point.

Why force mafia to lie when they're going to have to anyways?

The town forced us to lie anyway, so the mod certainly didn't need to. I'm convinced the only reason we won is because we got lucky, and Nacho plays a wicked awesome scum game.

I know town forces a lie. But, I would force a PR role lie, or something that would make the town PR roles more effective. But maybe it would be only one living MAFIA has to make the lie. As long as he lives, none of the others have to make the PR lie. I think it would give some extra challenge for MAFIA and make the town PR more meaningful.

Hi Guys. I was watching this game while I was waiting for my account to get approved (which took forever). So I just wanted to say thanks for the entertaining and informative session. If anyone is still keeping up on this and cares, these were my impressions (of course 20/20 hind sight now, so you can believe them or not if you want):

Nacho: was ready to kill him as soon as he didn't pull the trigger on day one, because it seemed really suspicious to me, but I totally forgave him by day 3 somehow.
Anti: is my hero.
Narsis: Would have lynched solely on the fact that he was Loker, and I don't trust Loker.
SoW: I'm a really slow reader and have ADD, I do not do well with walls of text, so it was just kind of annoying until I just read his posts by-proxy. His role seemed a little overpowered and I didn't really ever believe it was true until very late game.
Tasky: VI? sorry.
Zero: How did he not get lynched earlier? I ask that yet can't remember why he didn't or why I would have at some point, I just vaguely remember a strong case against him... I guess that's pretty good scum if you can be easily forgotten.

Modding question: If a doc tries to protect a macho cop, do you tell him/her to pick another target or do you let it go and it just fails? Do macho cops always know they're macho?

I guess that's it. Thanks again, especially for keeping it going after I had spent all the time to read up to that point. Hope to see you around. Take care.
