Just a day 1 bandwagon, don't get your panties in a bunch.

I've just never seen a day 1 bandwagon that started 8 posts into day 1 and moved so fast.

Agreed. I despise random voting periods, especially when they're allowed to drag on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and you just don't know when it's ever going to end.

A nice quick bandwagon gets the discussion juices flowing with no time wasted in the endless drudgery of randomlollery.

As long as tabs are kept on them so they don't turn into runaway lynches, bandwagons are good for town.

That PR is going to be really annoying, I can tell right off the bat >_>

As for your "scummy" comment above, I thought it was fairly obvious that I wasn't advocating quicklynches - merely quick
wagons
that get the discussion ball rolling.

Oh well.

EBWOP: As far as this wagon goes... the speed with which it grew does concern me a little, but apart from that I don't see anything in it.

Winter, why would NL be the right play.

We should start discussing night actions for confirming reasons. We have

Vig/Tracker
Hider
Cop/Protect
Jailkeep
Watcher
Tracker
Motivator
Absorber
Replacement.
Forensics

Personally I think JK, tracker, and watcher (and protectors) should not reveal their targets pre-night as thats the best way to find scum, but discussing what the inventor/JoaT should use is probably good. Motivator target should also be discussed.

Meh, it is, but we have a lot more info to discuss then we normally would, which makes random voting less enticing as we already have things to discuss.

Wow. Claus is really doing well with only two words at a time.

Question for Winter: Was the No Lynch vote a joke or do you seriously think it's the best option? The fact that you never retracted it is weird.

Talking about it... sure. Deciding what they should do... no. I dislike any attempt at controlling power roles, even if we know who is what.

That being said, jailkeeper targeting king Night 1 is probably a given.

Dunno about any other roles being controlled though.

I agree with this. I think that it'd be too easy for the Mafia to find a workaround if we assigned targets to everyone.

EBWOP:

I just looked at armlx's post again and realized that he didn't suggest we assign targets for everyone. I am, however, okay with my role (motivator) being discussed. Depending on how things shake out, I was considering targeting Claus, so we'd have two motivators. He's going to be awfully hard to read with his post restriction, though.

Are people on the Winter wagon voting him for his No Lynch vote? That would seems to be the obvious answer, but Alabaska and Twomz didn't cite it. Also odd that Hermit called his hatred of D1 NL's "irrational". Does he have any rational reasons for hating them? Has he considered how they apply to this game? Does he just hate them because he's supposed to?

Looking at the number of nightactions we have here and the absolute impossibility of fakeclaiming, it seems this game will be played just as much at night as during the day. The harm a No Lynch does to a town varies inversely with the complexity of the game and the number of town power-roles (i.e. the more vanilla the game, the more they hurt). It would be indeed "irrational" to completely dismiss the notion that the town might be better served by having all of its members around to act without at least putting it to discussion.

Also, I'm leaning towards "discuss but don't reveal final choices"

This is my first smalltown game. Some of my strategies may need revising.

Why is Jailer targetting king on Night 1 "a given"? This isn't an accusation, I'm legitimately curious. I don't have anything to do at Night until there's a body on the ground, so I would think that Jailing me would be more beneficial.
