Looking over the game. I've had computer problems, now that I'm not looking at a tiny 3X9 inch screen, I'll give my thoughts.-

I will do this though, because I find no reason why I shouldn't at this point.
Claim: Mason. I am the late Scott Brosius' partner. If anyone cares to counter-claim, you have my vote. If there is a protective role, best it be on me.
Congrats town, you have a confirmed town. I will do my best to swing my weight around.-

Right from the start, as well, I would say that we should leave andrew alone. For the time being. That's a job for the vig if there is one, however, he's looking more like a town VI than a mafia one; there is absolutely no scum motivation to acting this fishy.
I would also leave ribwich alone; he seems to be the overeager scumhunting townie that's just looking far too deeply into andrew. Both of you look town to me.
However...
hohum's serious vote reeks of opportunism.
Vote: hohum. Please die.-

Neither smashbro_of_the_SSS nor Guthrie have picked up their prods. But luckily, the wonderful Kitoari has offered to replace in. He will be filling smashbro's slot, since smash has gone longer without posting. I'm amazed by how quickly empty slots have been filled.
Now looking for a replacement for Guthrie. Let's see if our entire player list changes before the end of Day One. I'll probably extend the deadline by a few days to accommodate the replacements.
Edit: On a side note, I've just realized that I've been using two different shades of red as my mod colours all game. Signs of a rookie mod...Last edited by Mina on Sun Nov 28, 2010 3:24 am, edited 1 time in total.-

@Faraday: I asked that question because I had the impression he was claiming to be Scott's Mason buddy.
Anyway, playing in a game with someone you see often in real life doesn't sound like a good idea.
Which means that probably Scott's killer knew about their brotherhood and thought that it would have been best to kill one of the two, so they couldn't privately talk.
Now, who knows andrew that well?
Jason and smashbro. So yeah, I'll keep my jason vote for now.|Town|-|6||2|

Why the fuck would you out yourself as his mason buddy now? Jesus
Yeah, I'm exactly the same but I don't understand WHY you'd want elaboration to possibly out a mason. I thought it was a really bad breadcrumb, turns out andrew's not even doing that.Akira wrote:@Faraday: I asked that question because I had the impression he was claiming to be Scott's Mason buddy.
What? Talking out of thread is forbidden by the rules, I doubt scott's killer thought 'lol let's stop 'em breaking the rules xd i'm a mastermind' so this seems like a really horrible reason for a vote.Anyway, playing in a game with someone you see often in real life doesn't sound like a good idea.

You don't 'leave people alone' just because they look town, if you happen to be wrong they slide by. By definition a VI does stupid things that have no real motivation either way.DemonHybrid wrote:Right from the start, as well, I would say that we should leave andrew alone. For the time being. Do you have any idea how valuable a confirmed townie is on Day 1? Why shouldn't I claim? Why the fuck would you out yourself as his mason buddy now? Jesus-

Don't know what type of mafia you're playing then...Faraday wrote:Yeah, they're pretty much fucking useless. Being confirmed day 1 means you don't like till endgame where you can ACTUALLY be useful.
If you can utilize Day 1 reads effectively when scum is not so warmed up with a BONUS of a confirmed townie, that's ages more valuable than staying till endgame.-

I'm kinda caught up. So far it seems like it's been light discussion on:
- NK speculation
- Policy lynching of andrew (maybe)
- Andrew obviously breadcrumbing mason and then saying he wasn't
and
- DemonHybrid claims Mason
All the discussion on NK choice and andrew's reaction to it seems really tinfoil to me.Interested in doing a Dept. Heaven Large Theme. If you're interested in ironing it out, drop me a line.-

I just don't like breadcrumbs, so I wanted a clarification.Faraday wrote:Yeah, I'm exactly the same but I don't understand WHY you'd want elaboration to possibly out a mason. I thought it was a really bad breadcrumb, turns out andrew's not even doing that.
So you doubt it? Tough.Faraday wrote:What? Talking out of thread is forbidden by the rules, I doubt scott's killer thought 'lol let's stop 'em breaking the rules xd i'm a mastermind' so this seems like a really horrible reason for a vote.
Oh and that retarded killer imitation was utterly pathetic. Why can't Scott's killer think like that? You provided absolutely no explanation for that, you just "doubt it".
Anyway andrew clarified, so I'm moving on.
Actually with you in the picture they've become great players.Faraday wrote:Eggy (he's fat) and Andrew are beyond useless.

I don't think Andrew's that dumb to fakeclaim Mason when he knows that someone else has the role and can counter-claim with the ferocity of a thousand tigers. Just my two cents.
