I'm surprised at all the attacks on Alakazam! Here are the moves for this round:

Cybele's Alakazam takes 90 Attack from animorpherv1's Charizard, 40 Attack from Blackberry's Kabuto and 60 Attack from KageLord's Mewtwo, bringing its energy to 0.

Alakazam has fainted.

Kabuto gains no energy from Absorb because it is already at maximum energy.
Finally, Blackberry's Kabuto attacks Wizardcat's Pikachu for 100. It defends for 12 and loses 88 energy.

Oh WOW, you are correct. I honest to god thought I sent you a PM. I remember typing it up: I mentioned that someone said you were returning too because someone commented you were "waking up" and that I knew most of the other contestants but I would rather team up with someone who was just returning too... (the only reason I can think of me not sending it is if I forget to press submit, or the more likely, I wasn't used to the Preview button yet and didn't realize I have to press submit twice)... and then when I never I got a PM back I thought you must be plotting agains't me so that was one of my main reason for attacking you... But I guess it's done now -- It probably would have been better had I NOT done that because the target is now on my back. But now I'll just play it out.

Eh, it's likely a Berry win already. Our only hope would be to triple team Berry. My defense will probably last only for this round and after that, he can beat ani and wizcat with one round each (assuming he's not super weakened).

Eh, too risky. You would probably kill me in 2 (or even maybe 1) if I used that. My only hope would be to get Blizzard or Will-O-Wisp or Defense Curl or Disable, I think. Or maybe Shadow Ball if the max limit of 30 doesn't count with Metronome.

Finally, Blackberry's Kabuto gains 20 energy from absorb, but loses 60 energy from the fainted Blackberry's Mewtwo, leaving it with 100 energy.

I'd argue that KageLord could've decided wether or not to take damage from Berry's Absorb... Defense Allocations do have an effect, sometimes!

Quoth the rules: "If a Hero is attacked by two or more other Heroes and is only able to defend against some of the combined damage, the defending Hero chooses exactly which points of Attack to block, and which to take - Mantisman could choose to take the 10 damage from either Plastiqueman or the Doc, or 5 from each, or any other division. (This becomes significant if one of the attackers has, say, a super-power that has extra effects when it successfully causes damage.)"

In this case, if he blocked the 40 from Absorb, you'd be down another 20 Energy.
