No, not themselves, the person THEY have, cause otherwise, that information would be lost forever until the person they had were lynched. If they're dead, they can't say what role their person is.

Im assuming thats not true. someone has to make the night actions for them. im guessing it will be somehting like this:
Player A knows Player B, Player B knows Player C, Player C knows someone...
Player B gets lynched...
Player A knows player C.
If not then that leaves one person not getting to make someone elses night actions, and leaves another not using the night actions their character has.

- once we find out our role, and the role includes night actions, do we get to send in the choices? Or will the other player continue to use our role. Because if a person who has the doctor ends up being scum, they could technically protect mafia, if they wanted to, if they sent it in.

day 1 is going to be hard. There will really be no rhyme or reason to the votes. you wont know if your vote is good or bad for you either. I think that you really have to decide whether you want to play the role that you know, or if you want to default yourself as a townie until proven wrong. after night 1 there will be alot more info to go off of, and I'm assuming that several people will even know thier own roles, but until you know your role, I think you anly have those two choices

Afat, not sure I follow on why A would know C.

I'll say again, a policy lynch is all we can do as far as our lynch.

Another thing bugging me that I'm sure is bugging everyone else is curiosity about my own role. Nothing we can do about that though. If I'm scum, I don't want it revealed in thread. If I'm a power role, same thing.

what i am sayin is like....
If i get lynched... Lawrencelot knows my role, and i know Spambots role. so im assuming once i die, Lawrencelot would then take over on Spanbots role. since Lawrecelot wouldn't have anyones role, and no one would have spambots role. make more sense?

Keep in mind though, that we need him TAX to claim the person he knows first. Or otherwise spambot and pacman should claim so we know who is left.

Also I find it quite coincidental that I know numberfourteen's role and he knows mine too...

No. That would be very, very far fetched. If you die, nobody will ever know spambot's role, and Lawrencelot wouldn't suddenly magically gain knowledge of someone else's role. That's why we should think through if maybe the lynchee should claim the role of the person they know.

Usually I'm not a fan of policy lynches, but in this case, it's better than letting the scum have a free shot at those that are town.

I usually don't like policy lynches either, but in this game, it's our best option.

We shouldn't lynch anyone until we finish what we started. We need Tax and Spambot.

When someone is about to be lynched, I agree that they should claim the role they had sent to them. We have no other way to get that info for sure once they are dead. But we still lose info from NKs.

As far as lynching Tax, I'd rather wait and get a feel for how he plays. I've never played with him before.

Vote: no lynch


I just thought of something. If there is a cop in this game (which is not unlikely, as this role is mentioned as an example in the OP), he can check himself to find out his own alignment. I personally think a tracker or watcher is more likely, since that makes more sense with the 5th game specific rule. Now, in a normal game, no lynching is bad because:
1) no bandwagon/lynch info and 0% chance of a scum death (if there is only 1 scum group)
2) scum kills someone, and your next position as town is worse than before

In this game, these both don't matter, because:
1) we can't get info anyway, because no one knows his alignment
2) scum won't necessarily kill town, because scum doesn't know he's scum. And if he did, how would it matter, we don't know if playing for the town is best anyway.

The advantage is, of course, that someone with an investigative role can find out his own alignment. As soon as 1 person knows his own alignment, we can start actually playing the game.

But first, we need to continue our massclaim.

Lawrence, no lynch is bad. Even in this game. If there is a cop, there is probably a miller and/or Godfather too. And giving the scum a free kill isn't good. And if whoever got a cop's role investigates themself, they can say town whether they are or not. And that outs the real cop (which might be ok considering scum probably don't know who they are. I say probably because of the possibility of partners named in PMs).

Actually, if scum don't know who they are, is outing the cop really that bad? And maybe the scum's NK can be controlled by the town in thread. We could treat it like a second lynch. If the scum don't cooperate with that, they know who they are.

I had a theory earlier that the scum got each other's PMs and know who they are. I don't think this is the case now looking at who got who. I don't see any triangle of 3 people who got each other.

What I do see is Numberfourteen and Sird got each other's roles. Maybe we have 2 scum and a SK? I don't know. I was probably wrong on my theory.

Anyway, I think at the end of the day, we should decide on a scum NK, so we can control the lynch AND the NK.
