Great shot DC.

Eh. Yeah, I watched DC last night. I did see Buld visit him, but that's surprising as hell since Buld has really been a town read for me all game. Only time that town read was ever on pause was when he was getting wrapped up on little things such as hydras.

Evan you aren't the only one goin to rethink this. I dislike LyLo and not jumping to a conclusion right away. Be in mind it's thanksgiving for me.. My schedule is busier than normal, but I'll have another post or posts later tonight. With my thoughts.

Also, let me ask you what is giving you pause? Is it the fact that my role isn't one-shot, or what exactly?

The remaining three citizens of Corteleona quickly proceeded to string up Evanjalin, by a process of elimination. Unfortunately, they were wrong, and it was now 1:1. You weren't actually that scummy. I honestly thought I was going to have to fight for the win.

It was fun game guys! Well done to the town also. Both DC and Gunny had me pinned Day1. If it wasn't for the hurricane I was being lynched.

I have a few questions:

DC why Gunny for your vig shot?

I seriously thought you were a SK because of that claim.

See if we had massclaimed DC would've claimed shooting gunny, and I'd have been confirmed town. We probably don't mislynch charter. Re-examine Mala's claim, etc etc (with the no action etc)

I think he means that if we massclaimed correctly and people didn't lie about their actual roles the town would have had a chance.

The thing was I think that massclaiming hurt the town more than it helped this time around. When the vig was outted to me it was game over.

How the heck did anyone find Mala so confirmed town? Seriously, between LV/RD "reads" on mala, shotgun and my death immediately after pointing fingers at her (granted the shotgun kill wasn't mafia, but still shouldn't have been known to town) and a goon flip when there was theorized to be a RB and Ninja because of Mala's claim.

Seriously, Ben, that was dumb. No offense to mala, who did play a good scumgame, but I fail to see any reason why she would have been considered town.

For me at least, it was because you claiming to have protected conviction and charter's lack of bulletproof claim strongly indicated the presence of a mafia roleblocker.

I thought that JOAT + Jailkeeper + Vig vs. Role Cop + Roleblocker was not very balanced. It would probably have been fine to just have three goons against that town, and there definitely wouldn't have been the need for 2 power roles.

Well Day 5 revealed not only that there was a 1-shot bulletproof townie, but that there was no RB on Mala either, the only other claimed PR. Besides the obviously hunting for an SK when there's still mafia, and in the claim all night actions had a result or information regarding results, that all should have been sounding warning sirens.

It's pretty clear Benmage stopped giving a damn about this game Day 3 and afterwards.

Yeah, things changed after Day 5. I don't know what I would have ended up thinking, but I often am quite derpy with these things (as this game has shown

), so I wouldn't have been surprised if I'd still somehow thought there was a roleblocker.

Yeah, I probably should have just claimed a protect on someone alive. Or told the truth. But I'll take like, maybe 10% of the blame here.

Hell I'd probably be satisfied if Benmage went a week considering the new scum flip, rereading the thread, etc, and then voting Evan because of "setup seems more balanced". Unhappy, but satisfied. But I'm infuriated right now that this guy decided to vote 2 posts into LYLO without looking at ANYTHING. If you don't want to play the actual game by doing some scumhunting, if you can't even push a scumread without fakeclaiming, don't play the fucking game.

God, why hasn't my next game started yet?

This was a very interesting game to read, and enjoyable to mod after the Rainbowdash/Slandaar fiasco. I think the town could have turned it around if there weren't so many lies about actions and such. Massclaim was probably too little, too late.

Sorry Mastin I never left you my actual/updated reads (I didn't have ben as scum, yeah, I know if you read my posts it looks like I did, but I tailed off him later and it was because I switched) but obviously I didn't plan to replace so meh, I probably would have posted them later in the day if I hadn't.
