As Toomai is brought to the gallows, you can't help but feel uneasy about this lynch. It's your last chance; what if you screwed it up?

Luckily, your fears weren't reality.

Toomai,
Mafia Encryptor,
was lynched Day 6.

Game over. Town wins!

Set-up:
2 Mafia Encryptors
1 1-Shot BP Neighborizer
8 Vanilla Townies

Role PMs:
You are a 1-Shot Bulletproof Neighborizer.
During the day you may use your vote to find the scum.
Every night, you may recruit one person for your neighborhood. You will be able to talk to this person in a quick topic here. You may talk during the day and during the night. This person retains their alignment and role, so they aren’t necessarily town aligned. If you don’t submit an action by the night deadline, you won't recruit anyone.

You are aligned with the town. You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive. Please confirm by sending me a PM with your role name and alignment. The game thread is here.

You and [Partner] are Mafia Encryptors.
During the day you should try to blend in and attempt to mislynch town players.
During both the day phase and the night phase, you may talk to your partner in a quicktopic located here. Every night, you may choose one player to kill. You must send the nightkill to me via private message before the night deadline. If you do not send in a kill before the deadline, I will choose the kill randomly.

You are aligned with the mafia. You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same). Please confirm by sending me a PM with your role name and alignment. The game thread is here.
Spoiler: Night Actions
Night 1
Mr E Roll recruited killerjester
Shadi shot Mr E Roll

Night 2
Mr E Roll recruited Porkens
fuzzy shot Mr E Roll

Night 3
Toomai shot Porkens

Night 4

I was sad because mountainous but I don't think it was grotesquely overpowered.

I do see where people can take issue with the encryptor thing, but I don't think it really counts as bastard. Granted I also don't quite understand the power level of day talk so I dunno how to do it more elegantly to get the result in mind that you wanted. The thinking it was LyLo thing was iffy but that was really more town paranoia than anything.

I also appreciated dead people calling me obv town. :P

YAY! /breathes

OMG MHORK. yudothattome? hahaha.

Now
you can have a <3! Knuckle-touch-explosion! lol

Loved E Roll's - 'But I think I'm going to get my wife to try Mhork's cookie recipe :)'
Applesauce win! :D

@SalmonellaDreams
Thanks for the game, for starters.

I think the argument about double encryptors giving town too much information is tempered by the idea that scum had the leg-up in knowing we had only 2 scums and being able to use that in our mylo situation.

I actually like the way it was used here because Idk about anyone else - but I was blown away after NS' flip proving we weren't in Lylo. I think it made us question a lot more things / made the game really interesting in hindsight due to the simpler setup. I think if it had been just known that they had daytalk - it would have taken away some of that oomph.

And NS - so not obvious town. It was that out-of-nowhere scumread on Mhork that switched all your reads that threw me at that, though. It felt a lot like our previous scum game, where you only seemed to have an opinion at the end.

I've saved that game you posted though - because I plan to read that at some point to see what obvious scum ns is.

Touche - though what's supertowncred worth in the face of a win?

Well if it HAD been LyLo I would have been right. Toomai played well considering he replaced into a scummy slot.

I also think the whole, "HEY LOOK THE SCUM HAVE DAYTALK," aspect was pretty dumb. There was minor analyzing done on reads/interactions - the impact knowledge of daytalk
should
have on the game. Instead, it turned into a bunch of setup speculation and led to misinformation. Interesting idea, poor execution.

How does daytalk change the game? Like, I know it's supposed to make the scum more powerful, but I can't tell how much or how much knowing about it should have helped us.

It's not game-changing per se, but it can be useful.

SEGWAY 2.0

The second post in which Shadi mentions Mhork is in response to a shadi scumread on Mhork where mhork had questioned it, it almost looked like scum asking his buddy what went wrong.
This part? I'm not seeing
any
secret questions in Shadi's post (and if they are scum together they had daytalk apparently). I also do not see how this is an accusation of "buddying." But whatever.

I actually didn't know what a mafia encryptor was, so if it's daytalk, then yeah;
that only strengthens the logic of Ztife and Shadi saying nothing to each other all of day 1
.
I mean Porkens was wrong about Shadi/Ztife, sure, but the concept of analyzing players based on the knowledge that scum were using daytalk is something you can use to look for interactions or coordinated efforts that the scum might not otherwise have available to them.
