If you are town the scum is quite obviously going to either kill you, kill your tracking target, or not NK anyone. To avoid the second, you should not tell the world whom you're tracking, unless this entire thing is a lie and you want the world to know so that when you say that your target died it looks less fishy.

The reason you feel I was inconsistent is because I didn't give away my entire strategy, namely that I unsuccessfully fished the two nights that I fished for a gun. I wanted to leave out some info so that maybe scum would slip. I wanted to scare scum into thinking I was dangerous so that they can nk me so that I would be confirmed town so that THIS wouldn't happen

First you say you can fish for "binoculars or a magnifying glass for tracking or watching", then you say you can fish for a GPS satellite to track. Why did you claim two different items?

Binoculars 38% chance - learn who visited them
GPS 38% - learn who they visited

I choose what to fish for and see if I get it. They don't correlate directly with watcher/ tracker and I got confused by which one did what. My mistake

Baezu, if you had fished a tracker ability and you were town, you would've just said it when the day started, given you thought we were either in a position where we would have lost if we mislynched or had to lynch right correctly to be in an end game situation. Even if you did track someone, it would've been in a mislynch or lose position. Which means, that the only value such a statement has, is an appeal to utility. And you used it when you had just been put into a position where you would either be confirmed as mafia (the 2 vote mark, with a delay in a 3rd vote).

NS wouldn't have stated intent, he would've just voted.
