Could be worse, Tibalt. Dack isn't even pictured.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

He's probably off stealing something or other. Gideon not being there shows a bigger problem with him, in my opinion.

One day of spoilers and I'm already super hyped.

Rebound is, like, my favorite mechanic of all time. I even designed a set with it as a main mechanic(in BR, actually).

All the other cards look sweet, too, though. Sidisi is, like, the coolest mono Black general I've ever seen. Silumgar is fine enough. I will be very interested to see if he sees standard play, because the power is there for it to. Stratus Walker is the most hilariously disjointed rare I've seen in a while(since 'I can also graveyard hate' Anafenza, at least). The rest are limited stuff(I'm terrified of the 5/4 dasher at common, though--I know I'm going to lose so many games to it).

Also, Sarkhan and Narset as the walkers...boring.
Natirasha is just a vestige, it's Contessa now.

I quit Magic when Rise of the Eldrazi came out, so I didn't get to play with it much, but it seems really sweet.

Narset-walker seems sweet, but I don't want another Sarkhan so quickly.

I also think that Megamorph is the silliest name for a mechanic they've had in a while. I don't want to say it.

I think the Sarkhan is important for story reasons, so I can give them a pass on printing a second one so soon. I also really enjoy Sarkhan as a character.

Megamorph reminds me of those cheesy Animorphs books I read as a kid, and I don't really see the point to it... Why is it important enough to keyword?

Yes megamorph is uninspired. I suspect it will play fine? It's just... so profoundly so-whattish. I agree that it doesn't seem like something that particularly needs to be keyworded.

Because they really really wanted to have three different Morph mechanics, but they didn't bother to think about whether the third one would be interesting or not.

Anyone got experience with Mono-Black Humans? Could be a neat budget way for me to get back in.

I posted this on Reddit right after GP Memphis, and it got a fair bit of discussion. Probably worth a read-over if you're interested. http://www.reddit.com/r/spikes/comments ... mans_list/

I strongly agree with that killinggoldfish guy about Zendikar being an exercise in suffering.

Magic Origins is looking sweet already though. I can't wait to play with Liliana of the Veil mk2!

Went 4-0 in my second daily with Bogles online, add to that going 2-0 in the 2-man queues and I'm now 10-0 in "sanctioned" games online with the slippery ones.

Dude, nice! I'm still struggling through learning Affinity. The deck's a ton of fun, but there's way too many little mistakes that fuck you up if you don't avoid them.

Yeah, I think Affinity's most explosive draws put the explosive draws of every other linear aggro deck (Burn, Bogles) other than maybe Infect to shame but Affinity and Infect require a ton more skill to play at the highest level than Bogles and Burn. Affinity also has the problem that it's so brutally and easily hated on and the fact that such hate actually gets used in sideboards, Bogles is still somehow low enough on people's radars that you don't really see mass enchantment hate in the sideboards except for some Aggro Abzan lists which run some Fracturing Gusts and I beat an Engineered Explosives from the Twin player last night because I run the full playset of 8 Umbras which provide the key protection you need against it.

I had been doing really well with G devotion with 4 whisperwood and temur sabertooth when the format came out, but I stopped playing it cause I didn't like all the U/B control running around and I was getting a bit bored with magic.

This g/w deck is that on steroids. I think I'm in love :D
