well i mean do you want a "enhanced" minecraft server with lots of stuff that makes the game more interesting? or do you want a circus?

How is it circus-y? It enhances the minecraft server and makes the gmae more interesting.

do you want to explore a new area but hate getting there? send out your track laying car and then give it an hour or two and zoom out to the end of the new freshly laid track on your high speed train.

Want to go half way around the world on a traincart without needing 5 million powered rails, and also want to bring friends with? that makes it possible.

I don't see how it is circusy. circusy would be the candyland mod, flymods, mo creatures, better than wolves, BuildCraft, IC2, RedPower, etc.

wireless redstone?

I explore like shit, already been farther north than anyone else, I think, and want the second one. The first thing I would do would be to build a hidden personal railroad around the world so I could travel to everyone's houses and stuff

, I mean, so I could visit. First one is meh and I'd rather not have it because it just adds a bunch of carts. Waiting, some day, for Railcraft to support the 2nd option is far better.

I'm ok with wireless redstone. Doesn't take anything away from the game. Just adds an optional feature noone will ever actually physically handle/see/have a problem with.

Of the three, my order of preference goes

Railcraft > Second one in secondpost > first one in secondpost

I love love love railcraft+secondone idea if railcraft supported our method of modding. I can talk to the mod author about it and whatnot. Will do that tomorrow.

Wireless Redstone?

I'm kind of iffy on the wireless redstone, why not on the dungeons, since it isn't needed client-side, and YESYESYESYESYES on the minecart addon.

I've been working on a CTM map for about a week now, and I've finished the first three dungeons. Anyone interested in helping test what I have so far, so I can get some idea of what I'm doing right/wrong?

Actually, the third area isn't quite finished, because it relies on being able to customise spawners properly, which doesn't work in 1.2.5.

Dungeons one sounds great to me, though we'd need a new world to use it properly given how much we've already explored.

The other 2.. I don't use minecarts or redstone very often so they wouldn't do much for me.

The minecarts its something only a few of us would really maximize I think, but I would love to use it.

Yeah, the main thing I use redstone for will be obsolete when 1.3 comes out in a couple weeks due to the enchanting changes.

So, turns out I can't record Minecraft without dropping to about 5-8 FPS. Anyone know of a free (or paid with a free trial) recording program that doesn't murder the CPU? Or do I have to splash out and get a graphics card?
