Sweet.

Sorry Pooky, but I figured if there were two scum, you pretty much had to be one, and if there was just one, I'd take my chances on getting Primate lynched.

heh, I was hoping that k-scope was another governer. and by hope I mean
hope
. Fun game.

I think everyone played quite well though. Also, it's bizarre that my false claim fitted into that odd, completely coincidental, M pattern.

Trying to make a case with three words was hella tough, I can only imagine how it must've been for Primate.

What I was trying to say was: If I were scum, why would've I claimed a generic role like "Master Mime" before knowing that there was another such role (Zindy's)? It was clear by then that there were going to be role names.

Also, I had lynch protection D1 if I could get two people to say apple pie. I thought it odd that zindie came straight out with that D1, pretty much getting rid of all chance of him actually catching me saying it.

Whew... the vanilla claim really pulled me over the edge there... to be honest, I was more convinced about mith being scum if we are talking about playing the game :)

Yeah, the two words thing was tough. When you're trying to whip up a storm to get someone mislynched, two words just doesn't cut it.

I made the vanilla claim because I blatantly hadn't been trying to achieve any trigger words, so I couldn't really claim anything like that. In hindsight it was probably a mistake though.

I mostly play "normal" games, so I think I always come off as scummy in games like this.

Of course, why wouldn't they? They show you're clearly committed to stick around for the game even in a high pressure environment.

GAME NOTES:
Roles:

KaleiÐoscøpe - Mr. Bean - One-shot mayor if he gets Teddy.
Primate - Mafia
PookyTheMagicalBear - Charlie Chaplin - film to get protection.
mith - Master Mime - can speak 3 words at a time.
Zindaras - Molly - granted a power if they say mod-determined ice cream flavor during day (half the players)
Raffles - Mimsy - Doctor (if he and target say name of same IT company)

Due to some stupid mistake I noted the role of the dead Raffles as Mr. Bean, so to fix the error I gave his role to Kaleidoscope who now had his role revealed.

Day 1:

Pooky gets Raffles to say Vagabond in post 20. Pooky is protected.
Half the players say "apple" as required by Zindaras' role: Zindy (30), Pooky (31), Primate (37), Raffles (42), Mith (51)
Zindaras is allowed to find out the character name of one player.
Raffles gives Pooky the teddy

Primate and Raffles were not allowed to post until the deadline because they used too many words. Raffles was lynched when Zindaras joined scum Primate's wagon.

Night 1: Primate tries to kill Pooky but fails due to self-protection. Raffles would've had protected Pooky too had he been alive.

Day 2:

Zindaras' new word is "banana" and again half the town is friendly enough to accomodate his needs. Banana: Zindy, Primate (241), mith (242), Pooky (247)
Out of the blue, in post 239, Zindy says "Woman" which seals pooky's protection
Zindaras gets hint: "When Zindy made post 239, she accidentally activated someone else's power without knowing it." and her next flavor. If she had survived she'd have loved day 3 with all the talk about vanilla... Before she died, that was the flavor I gave her.

Pooky is lynched.

Night 2

Kaleidoscope sends in a "no choice"
Primate kills Zindaras which puts him in an excellent position to frame the two players who hammered Pooky the day before.

Day 3

KaleiÐoscøpe finds both mith and Primate scummy. What got Primate lynched was the fact he never tried to use trigger words, so he claimed vanilla with no generic role or triggers. In the end that is what convinces Kaleidoscope to vote him, but it might've gone different if he chose to call attention to the fact mith was the one who hammered Pooky.

If mith had died I would've used this rhyme in his role reveal:
Mith was called the Master Mime because he could speak three words at a time.

Did you know...

... that Raffles posted right before me by accident on day 1. It was coincidence I chose him to get the teddy bear.
... that the fact I gave Zindaras "Apple" as an ice cream flavor was anything but coincidence. I was purposely using a trigger word with double meaning on day 1.

Was the M theme on purpose or accidental? Also, who the hell is Molly?

It was on purpose with the occasional real mime like Chaplin thrown in for good measure. I used Molly because no one would know how it related to the theme to make sure mass claiming didn't break the game for the single scum we had.
