But my point still stands. It's clear that Screen is scum with either my or Ircher (not me).
The only thing that baffles me is the way he asked for a mass claim. It looked like he was hoping to counter claim, but he already knew my role as Ircher would have told him.

what is obvious to me (now that i've slept) is that there are two possible scenarios, one much more likely than the other

in either case, there cannot be two mafia neighbors as that would be truly differently abled

there is one scum in {vedith, ircher}

there's the off chance of a neighbor claim by two scumpartners in order to completely clear them from suspicion unless one of them is lynched. In this scenario, ircher has us all had (I'm also happy to lose to this as it's a play to be proud of - and if this is actually the case, then we are fucked, too)

this is unlikely

we are fucked

there's the (very remote) possibility of {cloud, screen} scum
in which case {vedith, ircher} are both town

there's the (less remote) possibility of {cloud, 1{vedith, ircher}}
in which case screen obviously sees right through his play as cloud being town makes him confscum.
if screen is town (and obviously he knows it), then he also knows cloud is scum; i don't see him pushing as hard as i'd like to, and that's the second main reason for me to like the first universe as much as i do over this one

other notes:
• I like the first universe better for the way I read the two of them
• I also like it better for setup guessing reasons (two differently aligned neighbors sounds like it'd be more likely here)
• In {vedith, ircher}, i like ircher better for scum than vedith. That is, of course, assuming no fakeclaim shenanigans as pointed out in towncloud universe
