@Aristophanes: I think you should probably hammer if Snarky doesn't turn up soon (up to you what "soon" means); given how long he can go without posting, we may be waiting for weeks. If you think there's a reasonable chance that I'm scum, you should hammer immediately (for what I hope are obvious reasons).
Note in particular that the most likely scenario is that Snarky is scum, in which case he will pretend to flake; it would be playing against his win condition to do anything else. In such a case we'd have to wait for a prod to get the confirmation of whether he'll place a vote or not. (If I were in Snarky's position as scum, and saw NM's post, I'd log off mafiascum.net entirely in order to avoid giving myself away as online by accident, or being tempted back to the thread.)

That only works if this is your only Gane or you are willing to sacrifice other games for it.
Part of the reason I normally only play one game at a time is that there's the occasional situation where theory considerations require a fake-flake, and playing in other games at the same time makes that really difficult. In general I'm not sure what to do in situations where multiple simultaneous games contradict each other in that way (use secret alts, I guess?). Might be worth a Mafia Discussion thread once this is over.

@NM: Well, if I'm scum, then Snarky's town. If I'm scum and convince Snarky I'm town (and let's face it, Snarky's stated reads have already proven to be horribly wrong once Today), then you're throwing away what would otherwise be an easy town victory. So there's one way the plan could potentially fall short.
