So you're saying you saw HC's claim, then forgot about it when you posted about them leaning town? Then have been seeing people call that a potential townslip and not said anything, continuing to let people think you never saw it in the first place with posts implying that such as 4993 and 4996?

i thought it was experience until he started doing the "people will be mad at me once i flip" thing and that kind of thing usually works on me but then he kept doing it and it kinda felt like the kid who tells a joke and people laugh at it and so they keep telling it over and over
idk i for some reason just don't have super high hopes in it being correct

In theory even if they can choose what reliability they give out, if you collect all the results and tabulate them you will have 4 authentic results and one that is manufactured and you work out who the fake is
in practice this is unlikely to work because of people possibly not being able to use the inventions they were given and the alignment of the players who weree given inventions being unknown. As I've been saying all along the mechanics are largely window dressing that exist primarily to signal there is 1 scum in 5, where if it was an all-vanilla neighborhood it would be much more uncertain.

Collectively? It can't. We don't have any guarantee that the sanities are uniformly distributed.
It's likely that the scumventor can choose a sanity, and the rest of the hood gives a consistent sanity result.
OTOH, it's reasonable for an individual cop to be parseable around D4: Say marci's cop invests experience tonight and me tomorrow. We get guilty inno. Now the cop cannot be insane (I'm town) or paranoid (town result at all) or naive (guilty at all) so we know experience is scum.
That's why solving cops that are going to stay around is more important than solving cops likely to die.
Like i think we might eventually manage to get a cc between sanities but like we might also just lim the cc .... i'm not sure it matters so much really
