I don't really hate any player. The only true problem I have with pm is lack of content (the occasional strange comment isn't something that I find to truly be annoying). PM if you actually explained your thoughts more (calling someone scum isn't that useful vs calling someone scum for x, y, and z) I wouldn't dislike you at all.

Kinetic's guide to logical reasoning, Simple Version.

Rule #1: Use the word "because" after you make an argument or conclusion.
Rule #2: Use a reason for why your argument or conclusion is correct, after the word because.
Rule #3: If the reason you are using as to why your argument or conclusion is correct, in another sentence explain why that reasons is correct with another "because" statement.
Rule #4: Repeat until you reach information that is confirmed by a reliable source (generally the mod, or notes on the game).

Reasons: Think of Logical Reasoning like a math problem.

Just because you found the answer doesn't mean you either a) know how you got there, or b) everyone can find the same solution. By using the word "because" and then "showing your work" as to why you came to the conclusion you did you take care of both of these issues.

First, you show others why you found this particular conclusion and the steps you took to get there. If someone couldn't find the solution, they can now see how you did it and this will help them reach the same conclusion if they were lost.

Second, it allows others to dissect your work and look for errors. It is entirely possible that you forgot something, or there is another explanation that is equally valid for something you listed. In that case, perhaps you yourself didn't take that into account and maybe you yourself made a mistake and you need to either a) look for more evidence, or b) update you conclusion based on the new facts.

Ex.
Joey is Scum.

(This is a conclusion. You have arrived at the "answer" of the question, but you have not shown your work.)

Joey is Scum "because" he voted for Tammy.

(Better, now you have listed some evidence, but why is voting for Tammy a move Scum would make?)

Joey is Scum "because" he voted for Tammy. Tammy is Town.

(This, again, is a conclusion, so let's use our new word because here to help.)

Joey is Scum "because" he voted for Tammy. Tammy is Town "because" she claimed she is the cop.

(Even better, but now we need to know, why is "claiming to be the cop" make someone "Town"?)

Joey is Scum "because" he voted for Tammy. Tammy is Town "because" she claimed she is the cop. We know that Tammy's cop claim makes her town "because" the mod said there is only one cop in this game, no one has counter-claimed her, and a cop is not listed among the dead players.

(This would be the "best" answer. As you can see, it lists a logical step-by-step reason as to why a player believes Joey is Scum. Remember though, while this is evidence, it is not full proof. Perhaps Joey claims that he voted for Tammy before she claimed to be a cop. In that case, the fact that he voted for her would not be evidence of his being Scum "because" the evidence of Tammy being town came AFTER Joey's actions. There is no longer a cause=effect relationship to the evidence of Joey being scum (he voted Tammy) and why this is scummy behavior (because no town player would vote for Tammy after she provided evidence that she was town).

Nope. I read that little fight, I thought that idk, maybe this PM person just didn't know how to make reasoned arguments, so, I posted that. Made it up on the spot. And I haven't been in the game for... about at least a year now, maybe longer.

Tammy here. And this is all you need. If someone votes for Tammy, they are most likely scum "because" they vote for Tammy. It's pretty clear cut. Follow this reasoning in any game with Tammy and you're sure to find scum
