@jason: I don't see that as rolefishing because there is no possible way that the statement you quoted would out a cop. I suppose the first statement could be horribly misconstrued as trying to direct the cop, but the second statement guarantees it's not that.

I think Butterfly's knowledge of the game type (based on information everyone has access to) would influence my opinion of whether or not he was rolefishing. I didn't want to speculate.

As I mentioned, it might have been something I missed. Now I know that I didn't (and that the exact game type is uncertain), I disagree with you that Butterfly rolefished. I think it is interesting that he backed off of his own statement, but simply mentioning the word cop as rolefishing? I don't buy it.

There's like a million ways to do that. I, for one, can get like that when I haven't slept for 24 hours but I'm doing something so interesting that it deprives me of my sleep. And when you don't sleep, your concentration, cognitive hability and such just gets screwed.

On a side-note, I like everyone's avatars. I believe this is going to be an enjoyable game.

Interesting twist on my words. To reiterate the original point, I don't think he was rolefishing in that post and because I don't think he was rolefishing, I find it illogical to try and build why he was or how it would benefit anyone.

At that time, there was very little information to go on, aside from The Butterfly's rolefishing accustion (by jasonT1981). More has come and I'm willing to look more into it.

That's a ridiculous reason for calling something anti-town. Now granted, I'm probably a bit too serious at times, but saying that sarcasm is anti-town is far fetched.

RVS is not the only choice for starting out the game. For example, if I was up early enough, I would have done some RQS questions. That's another way to blend in.
