Do you need specific coordinates? I just want my house in town, the basement underneath it, and then my and Packbat's "Lava Lodge" out in the desert. Also, can we specifically pick where we want it in the new server? Could you possibly place an above-ground pool of lava next to it? That's why we built it where it was and where its name came from.

will copy whatever
if YOU do the exploration and find where you want it, and give me newserverchords, I can place it wherever the fuck you guys want it.
Essentials: This means you'll be able to do stuff like set homes, request telleports to others, etc. I'll get out a full command guide later this week.
Grief Prevention: gold shovel to claim your shit to keep it from getting griefed. I am not acting as mommy and daddy between you and other users, if you don't get along, claim your shit and keep them out of it.
Dynmap/Dynmap-griefprevention: We will have a real-time server map available online, for users of the server and others to use. If you get on the map with the same IP address as you log into the server from, you will be able to chat using your minecraft name from the map website. Others can (I THINK) pick a username for themselves. The GriefPrevention part is it will show areas people have claimed, so you know where others are at, should you want to build close to them/far from them.
ManySmallTweaks: Things like levers on more blocks (stick levers directly on a piston, etc), default-spawned colored sheep, use shears on cobwebs to get cobwebs, etc..
Lockette - you all understand this, its a simple sign-based locking system. Chests inside of claims are by default already locked,
MaxEnchanting - the third Enchant option will -ALWAYS- be the highest level your enchanting table has to offer.
Everything Else - admin shit don't worry 'bout it.
THINGS TO KNOW:
With Lockette, you can add [Timer: #] to set a auto-close timer on things like gates/doors, set to 0 for never auto-close. By default, the auto-close is 4 seconds. You can use [Everyone] to make a chest/door public, but unbreakable/unlockable by others.
IF YOU ASK ME KINDLY, I can create GROUPS for you with names up to 10 characters long and without spaces, these can be used in lockette signs like this: [GROUPNAME] (eg: [GAVSFRANDS])
Server IP will come once i finish getting shit set up.
IF YOU DON'T CARE WHERE I COPY PASTE YOUR BUILDS TO, POST SO HERE, AND I WILL DO THOSE BEFORE I GIVE OUT THE SERVER DETAILS, AND CLAIM THEM FOR YOU!
If you want to pick your own copy paste area to give mt the coordinates, I can do that aswell.

I thought I had whitelisted him? Maybe not.
Anyways, me and Clammy made a bunch of progress. Changed the boime to snow so we'll have snowstorm assaults. Glass walls around the entire area, 80 blocks tall. Castle is nearly done, village is about half done, and we haven't started on siege camp or weapons yet.
While I'm thinking about it, is there a plugin that allows for different respawn points for different people? I was planning to use beds to split up the teams so they'd respawn at their respective bases, but I'm worried that beds may be destroyed by explosions and such.
Just so you guys know, I have seen the warps yesterday -- but I got into minecraft kinda late, and I was a bit too sleepy to actually make a decision.... will work on it tonight! Cheers.
Screenshots of the (almost) finished map. We're ready for play-testing. Is anybody interested in doing something later this week? It'd be nice to have 6-8 people. I'll talk with Clammy about grabbing some Hogwartia people, too.
A big thanks to Packbat, T-Bone, and ClammyCakes for their contributions (much greater than my own), and izak for letting us build on his server!
WARNING: LOTS-ISH OF PICTURES

I have decided on the Winners of the WARP contest!
I got a bunch of submissions from izak, omnom, and UT (and a submission from korlash that met an untimely end in the hands of a creeper). In the end, I decided on 4 winners:
- spawntown warp: By Omnom -- a platform floating high over the ground. I really loved the idea of having and aerial view of the whole town
- skytown warp: By Izak -- another very frequented area of the server, I hope the portal will promote development of skytown
- junglefrontier: by UT -- I really liked the design and the position of this warp
- distantland: by Izak -- Izak found a really sweet spot with an amazing landscape, far, far from spawn. We should do some sort of collaborative project here, like a huge common villa or something.
Thanks everyone for playing! And each participant will also get a stack of chiseled stone!

I'm actually moving my primary base of operations to my skytown cathedral, and leaving my spawntown home as my vacation home
Currently I'm developing my mountain mostly underground, but I've built glass roads that connect my mountain to the main skytown camp and izaks house this week. Also built a land road for ground development as well (it was my original path to the nether portal before I built the glass roads).
I got plans for a little lakeside village at the base of my mountain by the lake if I ever get that far. And I really need a mine too. So much to do
