I've searched the Grand Idea thread for...

"messenger"
"whisperer"
and
"pregame"

There don't seem to be any roles capable of giving information anonymously before the game starts.

found a few roles that send messages, none look like they send pre-game, though, only at nighttime.

Moderator Note for Greater Idea Style Games: If the alignment chosen is town alongside this role, then the player must attempt to lynch a VT each day or the player with this role will commit suicide. Same applies to TPR without kills. For other group!scum, that particular alignment must kill VTs or commit suicide.

This was attached to the Mafia version, but I assume it would go for all VT Exterminators.

Fair enough, but keep in mind the mafia pne was posted AFTER this game started.

We originally was gonna do VT, but I asked SirCakez how he would've interoreted Town VT Exterminator which obviously differs from my interpretation. Obviously, I wasn't gonna change the original which was a pretty nice little thing to exploit, but the mod note that I added to the mafia one should apply to future games with the role so it isn't broken.
