I'm in line to mod now. At the current pace that the theme queue is filling it'll probably be 90 days before I get the opportunity :(

that works for me. All queues have been moving slow though. I don't know what the deal is. People are maxed out I guess.

Vote Count!

hohum - (3) VP Baltar, Far_Cry, hiphop
Far_Cry
VP Baltar - (1) hohum
hiphop
brothernature

Not voting: brothernature

With 5 alive, it takes 3 to lynch!

VP Baltar says, "hohum must be scum!"
hohum retorts, "No, it's you. Lynch him faster please."
brothernature interrupts, "Huh? What'd I miss?"
Far_Cry intervenes, "brothernature isn't scum! But I think VP is...no hiphop!...no hohum!"
hiphop snipes, "I don't know what this'll do, but I'll vote hohum."

So, hohum has 3 votes. That means he should be lynched!...
Until hohum says, "OK, you got me, I'm scum."
VP replies, "So now what?"
"I dunno. I have a modding commitment coming up."
"Nice, count me in!"

hohum, mafia goon, has been promoted to mod status and has left the game.

The town wins!

VP wrote:@the mod-thanks for the game. good job overall and the vote counts were timely. I personally don't think you should have deleted the post where Zwet said that one of Far Cry and hiphop was his partner. In my opinion, that type of wifom is all a part of the game and shouldn't be interferred with by the moderator.
Hey thanks. The only thing is, I think it said hohum and Far_Cry was his partner. I don't quite remember. lol. The thing is though, this kind of message in any form is against the rules - I figured the best thing to do was to delete it ASAP.

Ok, perhaps the greatest end to a Mafia game ever. Since they all lived happily ever after, and let Town make its win condition.

Well it was nice to be on the winning team for once, but sadly I wasn't a big factor. I completely missed the boat on Zwet (I'm not sure I even made it to the pier) and never really got around to Hohum. It was nice to see the game clean up a bit after the early shenanigans, though.

@VP: You played a very good game and was right onto the scum. Top marks. I think it says a lot that I (and others) were willing to believe your meta read despite you not really being able to discuss it.

@bn: Who did you protect?

@Far_Cry: Investigating bn was a bad call, since the open set up pretty much guaranteed his claim's validity. Still, it proved a little matter and you handled pressure well when it was on.

@hiphop: This was your first game on MS, right? Well, it must have been a baptism by fire. You made it to endgame and wasn't really a big suspect at that stage, so you did pretty well.

@hohum: I Pm'd an /in for Last Man Standing, I'll repeat it here. I loves me some western theme.

I disagree a little bit. You played a very pro-town game even if your suspicions were off. That helped me out a lot because I pretty much had no doubt that you were town. Eliminating players as potential scum goes a long way toward winning in a small setup like this. I think for being relatively new, you are a ver good player and I'm glad to hear you are in Last Man Standing.

Plus you were killed N1, that's the frustrating mark of a true champion :).

Ohhh sorry.

Night actions

Night 1 -
Mafia targets Porkchop
Doctor targets VP
Cop target brothernature

Yeah, hohum definitely knew who the cop was. Ha.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE REPLACEMENTS!
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T NEED REPLACING!

Coincidence - my first game on Mafiascum was a Bird 7P as well...

Ah, first modding game... Hope everything went well for this!

Yep, this would have been a near flawless game for me had I not investigated bn. Whatever, we still won!
hohum wrote:Last Man Standing (I'm still tweaking the flavor so this is a rough draft)

Synopsis:

The year is 1879. The height of westward expansion has reached its peak. Some citizens have taken up residence in a little desert stop-over which bodes a high paying, fast-paced life style; however, where there's money there's also questionable morales! A ruthless gang of Cowboys is trying to take over all your businesses and worst of all your sheriff is in on it.

It's up to you to take back what's yours, even if by force! Just try not to kill everyone else in the process.
/pre-in for this. I would love to play.

Oh, yes. We still have our adventure there, too :D
