Both Nanook and lazarus nodded immediately. "I agree," they said in tandem, and moved to the back of their tribes' respective lines.
"We're tied 1-1, and so far, Nanook and lazarus have both agreed to reveal their votes at their next Tribal Councils," Jeff said.

"Xanthe and MeMe, you two are up next," Jeff said, summoning them forward. The two women faced each other, grinning. Seeing that they were ready, Jeff pulled out his next card and began to read.

"For your second task... You must agree to forfeit your vote at your next Tribal Council."

Xanthe? What do
you
think?

I'm a little nervous about giving up mine as I'm the transplant into Pekali...I'm concerned I'll be on the chopping block if my new teammates have a strong tribal alliance in place. Of course, it's not like my one vote could make any difference if it was decided I'm the one to go... :|

What do you mean? Agree to give up your vote? Or agree with me that giving it up could be risky?

So, I take it that you don't feel that you
need
to vote? You're secure?

Oh - OK. I just went back and read the challenge post -- I thought we had to come to an agreement and both do the same thing. That, of course, doesn't make any sense or the score would be perpetually tied.

I'll give up my vote.

And now I feel like a complete fool for revealing my mental status of being the odd one out...I don't know what gave me the idea that we had to discuss and be agreed.

Ahh - now I understand your post.

All the things I'd imagined were worse than this, so I'm guessing our team mates may face worse dilemmas. Seemed right to accept this forfeit and try to minimise the pressure on the others.

MeMe and Xanthe discussed their task for a moment--something Jeff had not expected. His smile widened. It was starting to get interesting.

After a moment of deliberation, they turned their attention back towards Jeff.

"I agree," Xanthe stated.

"Me too," MeMe responded. The girls shared a hug and returned to the back of their tribes' lines.

"We're still tied 2-2. Nanook and lazarus have both agreed to reveal their votes at their next Tribal Councils, and Xanthe and MeMe will both be foreiting their vote at their next Tribal Council," Jeff informed.

"Silgado and Talitha, you're next."

Jeff pulled the next card from his pocket as the two opponents stepped forward, facing each other. Jeff waited a moment, making sure they were ready, and read the next task.

"For your third task... You must each agree to
honestly
reveal who you have voted for in your past Tribal Councils."

Task #3. Good luck, you two.

I'll admit that I agree'd to that, but

I however did not agree to your later statement. I hope that you don't mean that I have to reveal my vote at every council, because that is not what you originally stated. If I do in order to win this immunity, sure I'll do it, but I would like the record to show that I protested it. :P

Nanook - I think it's because you all are on different teams at the moment. I read it to mean you each have to reveal once -- but it could be in two different TCs.

That's what I meant, Nanook. The 's' at the end was just because you are on different tribes, and will be performing your tasks at different times.

And don't worry, Talitha. I have everyones' voting history written down. Once silgado has posted whether he agrees or not, I'll tell everyone who you voted for.

"With that settled... Talitha voted for
spork
at the first Tribal Council, with silgado more recently casting his vote for
Vraak X
," Jeff told.

Talitha and silgado nodded, and returned to the back of their lines.

"The score is once again tied at 3-3."

Jeff motioned forward the next two in line: ZONEACE and Cubs. The two opponents shook hands and winked at each other before turning their attention to Jeff, who held the next task card before him.

"For your fourth task," Jeff read, "you must each agree to receive a vote at your next tribal council."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There's your next task. And for clarification, it doesn't mean that you will be voting for yourself, or one of your tribemates will be voting for you. It means that there will be one extra vote that goes automatically to you.
Good luck.
The way this is going, I'm so glad I went first. :P
There are so many questions I'd like to ask, but we are left watching the checkered board. Our eyes pass over the symmetry. I wish it were possible to achieve such mimicry, to move our pieces in peace ├óÔé¼ÔÇ£ my bishops to church, your wild horses to stable.
