Perhaps you should ask better questions to get the answers you want instead of blaming me. For the third time, I get suspicious when a wagon that had been strong all day crumbles close to deadline. The players who have not expressed a strong opinion about charter that latched on at the end are the most suspicious. I realize that ryan was not around and his vote was based on his supposed first read-through, but both his and sajin's votes are something to look at tomorrow.
Are you implying that you know charter is town? Thats how I read this. Your not even considering the possibility that charter is scum in these statements. Would you really rather lynch the uncced cop?
I'm not implying I know charter is town, I'm saying that I think charter is town. Last minute wagons that pop up close to deadline are almost always around town-affiliated players in my experience.

The players descended on Charter. He thought he was going to get through Day 1 unscathed, but in the end the players grew wary of lynching a possible town cop. The hoard of monkeys gathered around Charter and stoned him, and he bled to death. Upon searching his remains, they found that he was, in fact, town, but that he had no special powers. While the players had lynched a townie, they had avoided lynching the claimed cop, as was their desire. Night descended upon the primal village and the mafia planned their next move.

Charter was a
vanilla townie
.

It is now night 1. Please pm me your night actions, if you have them. You have 72 hours.

Final Vote Count
With 12 playing, it requires 7 to lynch
Charter(7) - Dramonic, Devestation, StrangerCoug, Ryan2754, Sajin, Konowa, charlatan
Devestation(1) -Scott Brosius
Dramonic(1) - Charter
Scott Brosius(1) - AdamNW
Pim(1) - Snake
Ryan2754(1) - Pim

The villagers of monkeyland were cautiously optimistic going into the second day. However, as dawn broke, they discovered that one among them had been killed. Scott Broscious was found face down in a river bend nearby, with his baseball cap turned upside down. Ironically, it was not his lucky day. Had he been killed because he was a part of the "evil empire"? In fact, the answer was no. After searching his belongings, "I love the town" t-shirts and coffee mugs were found everywhere. Clearly, the town had lost another one of their own over the night. The town got together again, determined not to let the plague of death continue.

It is now day. With 10 alive, it requires 6 to lynch. You have 20 days, the deadline is Aug 19th.

vote Devestation

Okay, since no one seemed to take the huge clue with me basically begging everyone to lynch Devestation let me help out. I am the cop, he is lying scum. I will not say who I investigated, only that I got an innocent. Before anyone jumps down my throat about why I did not counter, I will explain. I knew instantly, obviously, that Devestation was scum. I was trying to see if I could catch any one else with me, again, saying we should lynch Devestation almost any post. Knowing that Devestation was scum, I did believe that charter's efforts in trying to not vote him looked like an attempt not to bus.

Saying all that, more Devestation votes please.

Hi, everyone.
Replacing one of the lurkers and considering he only posted two-three times before he disappeared, it's as if I'm here from the start.

I skimmed the game during the night and from that skim I didn't like devastation, so I'm leaning towards believing konowa's claim.

I'll give more insights before tomorrow this time. Got stuff to do, which I need to get some sleep for right now.

Town politician? What's that?

That's an interesting plot twist we've got here. Clearly, one of Dev and Konowa must be scum.

Rereading day 1, I must admit Konowa's behaviour DOES fit with a cop and Dev's flavour paraphrase isn't quite exact. I'm probably going to vote Dev, but before I do I'd like to see his response to the CC.

Politician affects voting: he can buy another player's vote each night.

I'm leaning strongly towards believing Konowa's claim, and I'd like to wait for the replacements (welcome to the game) to post their catch-up posts before I start commenting in full.

At the moment I believe Konowa more than Devestation, especially since my theory that the former was charter's scumbuddy is now invalid. I'm not going to inquire about Konowa's investigation more than he has given, but I want to know who Devestation investigated and why.

Yep, Dev needs to claim result.

In the meantime is vote reduction by a politician permanent or day by day?

I'd think it's permanent, but considering the politician is dead, I don't think he can buy more votes <<

Not that we've never seen the dead vote.

I am fairly sure, about 75%, that the vote reduction is only day to day.

What I am not sure of is, that since he died does the bought vote still count.

*walks in with a coffee mug and t-shirt*

Of course someone will CC the claim of the scummiest claimed person. Of course they will wait for the next day, just to pretend to be laying low so they don't get killed, and of course they will fake cop-behaviour if they have half an idea what they are doing, and by now I'm pretty sure Konowa knows what he is doing.

I got an innocent, on Charlatan.

IMHO Politicians are a risky role, because if the Politician is wrong about who he thinks is scum, he's gone and stuffed up someone who might have a correct suspicion. I suppose it can work the other way though.

Yes, why me? To be honest, not to sound like I'm playing an obvtown game here, but I haven't been high on anyone's suspicion lists yet -- I'm pretty sure there would have been much better players to investigate.

vote: Dev

Also Konowa, I'm not sure I understand why you don't want to say who you investigated. I mean, the mafia already know who is town, so unless you're a rolecop and found a PR isn't not helping find the town people anti-town?

Minor FoS: dramonic.
I recently completed a game where a thief held off claiming a result and I asked why, and I was placed under scrutiny for that (most likely due to it being massclaim time). While I'd honestly like Konowa to tell us who he investigated before he dies, if there's some reason why he's not claiming his investigation target, then there's some reason why he's not claiming his investigation target. We can rule out his investigating Devestation, though.
