As town: Find 2 conftown through PoE, commute every night, lynch the rest of the game. If you were wrong about one of the conftown, after 2 scum flips, kills will stop, now you've got 2 scum suspects and no night kills happening. Town only loses if they put two scum in the neighborhood/get to 3p lylo, and even then it's a draw at worst.

As scum: incredibly pro town role, make yourself a communication hub nobody wants to lynch, WITH an explanation for never getting killed, and just..so many possibilities for manipulation.

I was overly focused on the counterwagon forming on D1 that, as it happens, was largely not scum made.
This led me to wanting to lynch the hydras.
Then there was Elbirn's "let's help hiplop bus!" line that I really never got over.
I was always townreading Klingon though!

I guess after the mod error was cleaned up a town win became sorta inevitable.

I had a bunch of stuff that I was working on that led me to want to force a 4 way, which is why I wasn't too concerned with allowing Mastin's vig (and I was positive she was town!)

I disagree; if Mastin would have killed town at night and Hiplop killed town too, you could have ended up in a 3P lylo situation. Elbirn and ErrantParabola could have easily been brought into LYLO this way, leading to a LYLO that Hiplop may have been able to win.

Really, your success came due to the not-really-a-slip that Koggz had (they quoted from their Fusion PT, not the scum PT). Otherwise, it was looking like a lynch would be on Elbirn or Errant.
Furthermore, if Mastin hadn't shot Hiplop, the game would still be ongoing right now.

Also, admittedly it was the vengekill so the kill pool was smaller, but I'm proud that I was finally worth night killing *tear* that hasn't happened since varsoon killed me like a year ago and that was only because I was obviously doctor

Speaking of Varsoon, lemme know when your next game starts whatever it is. Super hyped for space dandy 2, Varsoon 2, and samurai jack. ^_^

It was a pure slip, had hiplop/koggz claimed to have allied somewhere(dunno how, would a required laying early groundwork in case of a quicklynch), then it would have been easily explained. Since there was no reason for a pt quote, it was pretty much an auto lynch situation at that point.

Koggz, hiplop: I think if you guys had been more proactive about it and made sure hiplop was supposed to be voting you, you could have coordinated what appeared to be a self hammer by koggz to conceal the fusion. Different day play by hiplop on the last day may have been enough to get mastin to shoot elsewhere. R

Longshot, but disappearing like you guys did was probably the worst line to take.

Nah, it was a done deal I think. Once it became obvious that koggs quoted a PT that he wasn't in the only one left was me.

I didn't really explain it in thread, but I was not allowing both Koggz and Hiplop to make LyLo together, nor Elbirn and EP to make LyLo together, nor Elbirn/Hiplop.

I saw those as the only remaining 3 scum possibilities.

The plan was to lynch Elbirn -> if town venge Koggz or lynch Koggz -> kill Elbirn if townflip, Hip if scumflip, before the fuse or anything.

But then I figured that scum!Elbirn would stop the shot annyway so it made it pointless so even though I thought Koggz/Hiplop was the most likely scumteam I thought the correct play was to lynch Elbirn to guarantee 4 way.
