@Fate: Yeah, basically.

I know that you meant the redirector and I'm directing you to my post where it explains how there could be ANY NUMBER of extra roles that would prevent your kill and still allow his kill to go through, like:
(another) roleblocker
jailkeeper
a JoAT (well, a not-broken variant, mind you)
a self-targeting rolestopper
potential back-up bulletproof or roleblocker
some new Fate-madness role that might have interacted with another role (for example, a dude that gains extra power as his scumteam gets smaller)

Except the back-up, really.

But my point is that after massclaim, the chances of those things was much lower and would HAVE to come from scum itself. But on top of That, all the OTHER evidence made it a significant body of circumstancial evidence. Plus I can't read kuribo for SHIT. *shrug*

Oh hey, this game is over.

No gambit whatsoever, I asked to be replaced because I felt (and still do feel) like people were breaking the spirit of the game by letting pre-determined bias and alliances/agreements affect the quality and integrity of the game. It also just made things really stressful and not fun, which entirely defeats the purpose of playing a game to begin with.

Anyway, I don't want to spend any more time talking about that. I WOULD like to point out that, while there's been a lot of post game talk about Nuwen playing well, the best protown player in the game -- by a pretty huge margin -- was MattP. Need proof? Go read his final scumgroup that he called out DAY FUCKING ONE in . Nuwen may be high profile, but I've seen nothing but excellent play from MattP. But he gets lost in the shuffle (in mafia games) because he's not an outspoken assface like a lot of "better" players.

EBWOP: That's not to say that Nuwen is an assface, but yeah... I just feel like MattP deserves credit/recognition. He's pretty damn good at this mafia thing.

I was going to talk to you in private once I got ahold of you and this was done, Glork.

I really disagree with you about ... pretty much everything as far as the reasons you replaced out. Your argument, it seemed to me, was that there was some coalition formed to try and get Slandaar lynched, and that was simply not the case. For example, I did not vote Slandaar until I thought he was scum - and guess what, HE WAS! He was a survivor and his survivalistic play, which I noted, was scummy. I ended up pretending to be convinced he was town just because I felt really bad about the whole situation. I shot him later, instead.

And as for me and kuribo, we are friends and I have a TERRIBLE time reading him, but on Day 1, I had a strong town read on him and chose to act on it. I don't even know how or why you got the impression of anything different.

I am very sorry that I was part of something that made you upset, and I have been upset for MONTHS about it. At the time, I cried in real life because I was so distressed. I offered to replace out if it would make you comfortable staying in.

I also came down too harshly on Slandaar and I'm glad this came up again because back then, I decided to PM him after the game was over and apologize for going overboard.

And on another note, I completely agree with you about MattP and was intending to nominate him for a scummy if town won but now that we've lost I'm not sure which one fits.

Funny you say now that I was "obvscum" when you called both of them scum and me town.

Fact is, because of your playstyle, I was able to jump off your wagon and let it coast. You replaced out, sure, but at the time, I knew that my behavior toward you would 1) Play straight into my town meta of tunneling a player and screaming at them, 2) Make you look like scum if I got lynched, 3) Make the rest of your attackers look scummy for helping me with the wagon. As I was trying to explain to Glork, my pushing your wagon had nothing to do with anything personal, and 100% to do with getting town lynched.

If you want some honest, constructive criticism? Stop calling people scum just because they suspect you. You've done this in every game I've ever seen you play. You have the potential to be a decent, if not GOOD scumhunter, but you get sidetracked arguing with people. I know this, because I recognize the same about myself.

I didn't really think they had scum pms, I just wanted to attack, if you think I was playing mafia when they were making personal attacks with no reasoning just to help you, you are an idiot.

Chess was just bsing. Then Amrun comes in saying what was obviously a complete joke/troll from chess was fact. (she took it as fact because its buddy Chess)

How does any type of scumread on me enter the equation? it doesnt (and chess never had one) None of it relates to scumreads.

You say what you want, you derailed the thread into that shit, so well done. They wanted to join in and did so with complete lies/slander to try to make others think bad of me because I was voting you.
