Ok, Thok .. chill.

I know this game has been on hold for a while due to Mole's absence, and I apologize, but I just replaced 2 days ago, and would have said something last night, but was too tired to read all of this.

Anyways, as everyone already knows, I am Mr. White.

My results are as follows ..

Night 1 DragonPhoenix is an undercover cop
Night 2 Coron is an undercover cop
Night 3 Lucresia is an undercover officer
Night 4 Warpdragon is an undercover cop

When the mod sent me the results he said that don't worry about the flavour of my results as they are just that of equality of Mole's. Thing is though that I found it odd that Lucresia was called an undercover officer, instead of cop. Not that this is anything big or anything, but I have found her most suspicious throughout my reading of the game.

My role name is "Common No Name Hood" for those wondering, since I don't think that Mole made any mention of it.

The only two players that I find as possible scum are Coron and Lucresia at this point. I came to think JereIC was innocent early on, and I think DP being a bit hit with finding the first two scum helped with his innocence as well.

You would think that after reading all of that I would have more to say, but most of my notes were from earlier on in the game dealing with Milkman, Spork, and Lucresia .. and Milkman and Spork are dead and scum as I suspected. (I read the game before seeing who is already dead to help me find connections)

Anyways, I'm off, I hoped that I helped, but if the officer bit doesn't then all I can come up with is that I am paranoid.

PS - Thanks Thok for replacing into the game.

No problem Nanook. So at this point I think we can safely assume you are paranoid.

So back to the no lynch/I watch Lucresia plan.

Once again, the group decides not to kill any member of the gang. In the stillness of nightfall, you realize that you haven't heard anything from outside on quite a while. Are the cops still there? Is it finally time to try to escape? Only one way to find out...

Each player must send in a choice to *Flee* or *Stay*, before dawn; no in-thread discussion will be allowed.
Night will last a little longer than usual to allow you time to decide. What will happen at dawn? A couple of options exist:
  • If the entire gang chooses Stay, the game will continue as before.
  • If a majority of the gang chooses Stay, those who Flee may or may not be caught by the police who may or may not be staked out outside.
  • If a majority of the gang chooses to Flee, then you'll find out whether or not said police are still maintaining said stakeout. However sticking together will allow those who leave a better chance to escape, and doom those who Stay (if there are still cops, of course).
  • If the entire gang chooses to Flee, then the game will end. Win conditions apply as stated in your PM.
Feel free to send me a PM asking for clarification before you choose what to do. Again, the thread is closed and there is to be NO private message discussion amongst those remaining, unless you already had that privilege.

If you have normal night choices as well, please send those in addition to your choice to Stay or Flee.
Choices are due by Monday, Sept. 12th, at midnight.

KBLY has an oldie but a goodie for you tonight; a song by Cher called, "Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves". Take a listen while you work:
  • I was born in the wagon of a travellin' show
My mama used to dance for the money they'd throw
Papa would do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of Doctor Good

    Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
We'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call us Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
    And lay their money down

Picked up a boy just south of Mobile
Gave him a ride, filled him with a hot meal
I was sixteen, he was twenty-one
    Rode with us to Memphis
And papa woulda shot him if he knew what he'd done

    Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
We'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call us Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
    And lay their money down

I never had schoolin' but he taught me well
    With his smooth southern style
Three months later I'm a gal in trouble
    And I haven't seen him for a while, uh-huh
    I haven't seen him for a while, uh-huh

She was born in the wagon of a travellin' show
Her mama had to dance for the money they'd throw
    Grandpa'd do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of Doctor Good

    Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
We'd hear it from the people of the town
They'd call us Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
    And lay their money down

Stumbling awake, you listen for the sound of your partners in crime. Those of you still in the warehouse hear less than before; it appears that
Coron
and
Dragon Phoenix
both disappeared overnight. Did they escape? No sounds from outside to indicate that you're going to be stormed, but... there are so many unanswered questions left for the five of you remaining.

Coron,
Mr. Magenta
, seems to have disappeared Night Five.
Dragon Phoenix, or
Mr. Purple
, also vanished Night Five.

It is now Day Five; with five of you remaining in the warehouse, three can make a decision for the dwindling group.

KBLY wants you to rise and shine with a cheerful little piece by Edwin Starr, titled "War":
  • War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Uh-huh
    War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again, y'all

    War, huh, good God
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

    Ohhh, war, I despise
    Because it means destruction
    Of innocent lives

    War means tears
    To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
    And lose their lives

    I said, war, huh
    Good God, y'all
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again

    War, whoa, Lord
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

    War, it ain't nothing
    But a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
    Ooooh, war
It's an enemy to all mankind
The point of war blows my mind
    War has caused unrest
    Within the younger generation
    Induction then destruction
    Who wants to die
    Aaaaah, war-huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
Say it, say it, say it
    War, huh
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

    War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Uh-huh
    War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again y'all
    War, huh, good God
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
    War, it's got one friend
    That's the undertaker
    Ooooh, war, has shattered
    Many a young mans dreams
Made him disabled, bitter and mean
Life is much to short and precious
To spend fighting wars these days
    War can't give life
It can only take it away

    Ooooh, war, huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again

    War, whoa, Lord
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
    Peace, love and understanding
Tell me, is there no place for them today
They say we must fight to keep our freedom
But Lord knows there's got to be a better way

    Ooooooh, war, huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    You tell me
Say it, say it, say it, say it

    War, huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    Stand up and shout it
    Nothing

Lucresia investigated somebody who stayed behind and is alive. That suggests she's not scum to me. I'll let her give her result herself.

Perhaps a discussion of win conditions would be useful?

Well, with my number one suspect apparently cleared by Thok, everyone else's number one suspect gone in the night, and me with no investigative abilities, I'm kind of leaning towards one of y'all being a godfather-type of undercover cop.

I'm starting to suspect that we did in fact start with 3 scum (as Warpdragon said), and that they are all dead (although there may be more info). I don't want to stay here too long-at some point the police are just going to raid us and end the game (although DP/Coron may have already won the game for us).

If we no lynch, and we have a chance to run tonight, I'm planning to leave.

I am actually immune to the cops in the game, but (as I asked our illustrious mod last night) not to cops who may or may not be surrounding the warehouse. I just played it safe.

Situation Count:

Quiet.

With five present, three will decide.
--------------------------------------

KBLY has a special request for our listeners this morning; Mr. Croce has passed on, but his music lives in with the classic bad-boy piece, "Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown":
  • Well 'ole south side of Chicago
Is the baddest part of town
And if you go down there
    You better just beware
Of a man name of Leroy Brown

    Now Leroy more than trouble
You see he stand about six foot four
All those downtown ladies call him "Treetop Lover"
All the mens just call him "Sir"

And he's bad, bad Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damned town
    Badder than a-old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog

    Now Leroy he a gambler
And he like his fancy clothes
And he like to wear his diamond rings
    In front of everybody's nose

    He got a custom Continental
    He got a Eldorado too
He got a .32 gun in his pocket for fun
He got a razor in his shoe

And he's bad (bad) bad (bad) Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damned town
    Badder than a-old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog

Well Friday 'bout a week ago
    Leroy shootin' dice
And at the edge of the bar
    Sat a girl named Doris
And oo that girl looked nice

Well he cast his eyes upon her
    And the trouble soon began
And Leroy Brown had learned a lesson 'bout a-messin'
With the wife of a jealous man

And he's bad (bad) bad (bad) Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damned town
    Badder than a-old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog

Well the two men took to fighting
And when they pulled them from the floor
Leroy looked like a jigsaw puzzle
With a couple of pieces gone

And it's bad, bad Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damned town
    Badder than a-old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog

And he's bad (bad) bad (bad) Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damned town
    Badder than a-old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog

Yeah he was badder than a-old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog.

I investigated warpdragon last night and found him to be innocent. so..that means all of my nightchoices have been innocent results. I am either not sane, or am extreemly unlucky in finding scum. lol

First of all, I will confirm that Lucresia did watch Warpdragon.

So, one of the reasons I wanted to discuss win conditions is an interesting little chat I had with the mod last night.

I (and possibly others) do not win by catching all the police/scum/whatever; rather I win if the gang successfully escapes. We should start trying to decide if there are any scum left in the town-according to warpdragon we only started with 3. If there are no scum left, we should possibly try to no-lynch and run for it (assuming that's possible).

Dawning realization comes into several of your eyes as you realize you might be able to get away after all. Is tonight the night to make a break for it? Nobody dies face-to-face, but what does the night hold?

Each player should again send in a choice to *Flee* or *Stay*, before dawn.
Night will end when all choices are in. What will happen at dawn? A couple of options exist:

KBLY has a little traveling music for our ramblers tonight, courtesy of the Allman Brothers, or those who are left alive, anyway:
  • Lord, I was born a ramblin' man
Tryin' to make a livin' and doin' the best I can
And when it's time for leavin'
    I hope you'll understand
That I was born a ramblin' man

My father was a gambler down in Georgia
He wound up on the wrong end of a gun
And I was born in the back seat of a Greyhound bus
    Rollin' down highway forty-one

Lord, I was born a ramblin' man
Tryin' to make a livin' and doin' the best I can
And when it's time for leavin'
    I hope you'll understand
That I was born a ramblin' man

I'm on my way to New Orleans this mornin'
I'm leavin' out of Nashville, Tennessee
They're always having a good time down on the bayou
Lord, them Delta women think the world of me

Lord, I was born a ramblin' man
Tryin' to make a livin' and doin' the best I can
And when it's time for leavin'
