Double
would be a very good modifier to add for chaos if you want a very chaotic Normal Game if Normal Game had no rails but still tried to adhere to Normalcy, which is what I see BooneyToonz as.

I've been really thinking about what Enchant said in regards to the Mutations thing, and they're 100% correct.

I have an idea I'm going to try after this game's over, which is another reason I'm hyped for another one.

this is why I don't see Framer or Psychotrooper as good BooneyToonz roles for example - arbitrary results interference is something that goes against Normalcy in my opinion, as arbitrary results interference undermines the idea that investigative results are trustworthy.

(note that this game's version of Interdimensional Traveler is not arbitrary results interference. Blocking results doesn't undermine the idea that investigative results are trustworthy.)

pedit: I think Mutations should be more transparent ideally, to allow the game to feel more like a Normal at least in terms of setup spec rather than a Theme.

oh, and
Double
allows you to use the modified action twice. If Multitasking and Double are applied to all roles, that allows you to use all of your actions twice each night. Split on a single action is somewhat similar, but Double actually gives you two actions while Split gives you one action with two targets.

A Double Checker would allow you to check up to two players each night.

Yeah, I like it.

Balance is still important in BooneyToonz, but I see what you've been getting at, and yeah, I'm in the same boat.

It can be wacky and over the top with roles that wouldn't be in Normal Queue, however, they're still aiming for solid balance, and without things that can be, as you said, arbitrary.

I do really want Mutations to be a thing, I just feel it's been underdeveloped as a function, and will develop it further for more transparency going forward.

Well, Split is also a 'Conditional Compulsive' modifier in its own right, so if you have the ability to target two separate targets, you must.

Whereas, in theory, a Double modifier would allow them to target the same person twice in certain scenarios where that would make sense to do.

yeah, you can target a player twice with a Double ability if you really wanted to even if you were also Compulsive.

Split gives you two targets, Double gives you two actions.

as for what I call arbitrary results interference, Framer and Psychotrooper can cause false results that don't involve them to happen, as opposed to Miller and Ninja which only interfere with results involving them.

I guess saying old Normal Queue guidelines is a little outdated if people don't know those, so yeah, I can say it's not mandatory. When I wrote that up, it was a lot easier implied, but it's been a long time since those.

I won't count me saying 'there could be no power roles at all' in the introduction either.

Always been an 'Up to 1 Boon Bank' role, if there's a second, can be a Variant. I will add that line specifically going forward because it's not easy to see.

Learning and evolving over time. There's a lot to it, and overtime the kinks will all be worked out, and then will just need to be oiled up every now and then.

Yeah, it was already done.

Honestly, moment Drew accidentally protected against his own kill, the game was near in Drew’s corner.

Just what a happenstance. Town did not play bad. Imo, town played pretty well, overall I would say.

Anything that could be looked a little harder on, I understand why they happened.

Like end of the day, Drew trolled us all by not hammering, but I think he was afraid of an unknown role, which is fair. He didn’t know what happened to caused the No Kill.

But it’s just a waiting game til Scum wins here.

The situation that happened with Klick and Norwegian is just something wild, and I 100% understand why they each could look like scum.

Technically, Firebringer’s Epiphany should clear Norwegian, though, and it does look like Klick set them all up, and made it to endgame by playing a strong manipulative game.

It's not trolling, Drew did right thing. If there's roleblocker/jail claim, i for example never try to get self killed like that. Better safe than sorry.
