well if thats the reason you are going to bandwagon me, then Im going to die, but way to lynch the shopkeeper... do you think a mafia might be trying to avoid it more?

And I will say that it is not a stupid question.
a- you will be killed if you dont answer it (likely at least)
b-you cant be hurt by it should you tell the truth.
c-i know the answer.

a - probably - but more fool the idiot town - its like living in Craplogicopolis. Owning or not owning a gun proves nothing.
b - Um probably too late for that
c - You know the answer already??? THEN WHY DONT YOU TELL ME WHETHER I OWN ONE OR NOT!

I like to survive long enough to study and analyse posts, and this current conversation actually is spawning a good base for study - so I will need someone else to do it, and I think I have a candidate in this game who is capable of analysis...

Packs up my shop. Nails the doors shut. Apologises profusely to Leonidas - a regular. And spits on Mackay the bankrupters grave. All this started because I tried a bit of humour so I could later on at the end of the game explain why I said that...

Oh and maybe cos Im also a stubborn beggar :) who still wont answer a dumb question. See point C for another reason.

Yes I always ignore questions like that. Find your mafia another way. At least I can now find out from the mod what the full scope of my role had...

a - Maybe it doesn't prove anything, but then it shouldn't be a big deal to tell him in the first place.
b - It's not too late, by my count, but you obviously don't care... after all, you're standing on principle! <insert grandiose music here>
c - Because he wants to see if you're willing to lie about it, ambic... he's obviously trying to make use of some facet of his role to make that determination. Frankly, your endless tirades about how "dumb" we all are and how "stupid" the question is are starting to smell more and more like nervous evasion. You wonder why maybe some of us think you might be lying? Think about it, man.

The amazing amount of hubris implied in this sentence boggles the mind.

You definitely got that last part right, buddy... :D Frankly, so am I.

What's the logic here?

It may be a stupid question but if ambic was town, he would have answered it by now?

If ambic is mafia, there is no way he would answer such a question?

That is some of the worst logic I have ever heard.

I personally think that the mafia would answer such questions sooner to keep the town off their back.
You must be drunk 'cuz you're all blurry.

I officially object to voting ambic. I do not have any special information about him, but I do believe his role claim. He MAY be mafia as well as a shopkeeper, but that's for a cop to find out.

Contrary to what Cuban Smoker says, I am more comfortable voting ambic now than I was earlier. His pattern of deceptive posting is way too suspicious. I was ready to lynch Mike Amok on RubberDuck's revelation, but then I realized RD had voted ambic twice, and ambic has been extremely evasive. The theory that ambic and rubberduck (and possibly even Mike Amok) are all involved in a scheme to trick us seemed a little too far-fetched for RubberDuck, but then, the three of them, and maybe a fourth experienced player could have planned the whole thing together.

One wonders how much longer this day is likely to last...

You guessed correctly before, I am a gunsmith. I find out if people own guns or not...

now, ambic is in a trap. only honesty can get him out.

ambic, it would be stupid for me to tell you if you have a gun or not.

here is what i know:
Cuban Smoker has a gun (also told in a different post)
Ambic ??? (oh, sorry forgot to write it down. refresh my memory, ahem.)

IMO, voting ambic would be beating a dead horse which I've done enough in past games. I'm not sure if amb's mafia but I'm still not going to vote.
Ever wonder why that edit button is obnoxiously placed in the center like that? Yeah, that's cause of me.. and trust me, it's better off there.

Sorry amb, but you could have stopped this entire thing 5 pages ago by answering instead of claiming a role. I found that strange, so when there was silence I decided to press the issue again.

Lets do this.

Im one vote away from being lynched.

If the gunsmith is telling the truth - then he is evil for trying to get an innocent lynched when he knows I dont have a gun.

If the gunsmith is telling a fib - then you will soon learn I dont have a gun. If as I say, dont have a gun, then he HAD NO REASON TO CAMPAIGN AGAINST me...

So lets just screw that dipstick right back

Vote Ambic

It is now night. Die MatthewV - Maybe not an incompetant by role, but certainly an incompetant by method of play.

If he tells the truth, then he knows I DONT HAVE a gun, so he has no reason to vote me on it. Therefore he is more likely to be lying.

If he is lying, he is scum.

Die MatthewV - night will claim you and if not - the town should lynch you.

It wasn't night when Ambic posted that it was, but it is now...

"Ambic's Donuts" was the only donut shop in town. You'd think the town might have figured out that the guy named Ambic was the shop owner. But then again, you've probably never been a part of a mob either. It didn't help that Ambic was quite the martyr either. He had a tip jar in his shop but always refused to let people put money in it.

"Just because he was a shop owner, didn't mean he wasn't Mafia," someone mumbled.

"Yeah, and the mafia
MIGHT
have Jonnie Cochran on their side too," someone else sarcastically shot back. A fight might have broke out if everyone wasn't so depressed. As it was people just wandered off to go home to sleep that night...or whatever it was they did at night...

What DO you do tonight? Send choices

Ambic, Donut Shop Owner, was lynched

Being a burglar was easy in Unpleasantville until the killings began. A lot of people didn't even lock their doors at night before the trouble started. Nowadays Green Crayons had to use his lockpicks a lot more. Not that he wasn't really good at it, but it did increase the chance of running into a confrontation. He didn't like confrontations. He didn't like violence.

Since the man of the house was now deceased, Green Crayons thought now would be a good time to burglarize the rest of Bobacino's family. After casing the house he decided to enter through the bathroom window that they had left open. He was barely inside when he heard someone coming down the hall. Instinctively he grabbed something as he left as quickly and as quietly as he had entered.

Some morbid fascination made him go to trash cans where Bobacino had been killed. Someone had cleaned the sidewalk pretty well, however, and there really wasn't much to see. Well, not until the shotgun blast hit Green Crayons. Then there was
a lot
of blood to see.

"Hate for you to steal anything from us some night. Besides, I always preferred
red
crayons."

The silhouette looked around for a moment to see if anyone was going to "boo" the joke he had just made, then he stole off into the night.

You
won't believe
what happened the next day...

Green Crayons, burglar, killed

On another note, the roles of the dead are public information, so if you have any questions what a person did, feel free to ask. I haven't explained the roles that I think people should know...
