made a mild conceptual mistake which is building the mason thread right before the scum thread so that the topic number of the game thread is 2 smaller than the topic number of the scum thread, which they could maybe deduce to mean that there are masons or neighbors (i dont think anybody actually notices or thinks about this and it also could just mean that any thread of any kind anywhere was made in btwn those two things). i believe the theoretical ideal order is mafia thread -> game thread -> anything else
any time there is some factional thread (generally, a scum thread) i just post any sort of results directly into the thread Only so long as the recipient was alive when they got it. this meaningfully affects gameplay only when the person would refuse to share the result or they flake out and die before they would share it, and i dont really want either of those things to be enabled (i've done this for several years and never had a complaint about it. i don't remember whether other mods do this). it is kind of weird to do it in a mason thread yes but the logic is still there. i dont wanna say anything about it to std during the game especially because i happened to also give mafia a similar result in their thread on the same night
i sort of.... dont mind reaction testing gimli and he definitely comes away from the thing looking like town. but also apparently like several of sky's assumptions here are like wrong. for one thing scum are rarely in a hurry to kill masons and so like there is nearly no reason in the world to pretend to scumread them for the sake of ... preventing them from being nightkilled
i think that i would be townreading save the dragons so hard here. btw.

i think the key to the current gamestate is that claiming vigilante is this magic thing that makes everyone want to grasp for straws to entertain scenarios where youre town. like "oh shmeep claimed vig.. well that is a town role. so, i wonder how it could be that shmeep is town, because they actually seem to have claimed vigilante"
