Yeah! It could be she is just scum who is simply doing PR fishing.
Plausibility is a very strong thing to keep in mind though - if you can think of a reasonable explaination even if you would never reach it yourself - it can save you from tunneling and allow you to have a better conversation to support the other theory.
It's my own personal method to do so and keep an open mind on things. As the game progresses, theories get more tight and certain things are more or less harder to justify.
My general philosophy is to at least use plausibility as an excuse to explore elsewhere.

I think the likliest outcome at the moment is a mafia win, I shall not ellaborate but just based on all info I am reading in thread it seems less likely than average for town to win in this position.
