No, explain to me why you definitely have to lynch someone with a deadline. You have a very large chance of killing a townie if you lynch with so little information.

Beside that, you didn't start the bandwagon. You joined one.

If we wait for the deadline, one of us will get lynched while he may be unable to defend himself. If we wait that long we might lynch a doc or a cop, which is less likely when we bandwagon someone, and at least allow him to claim before going down.

You don't get it, do you?

What happens at a deadline is different by almost every mod. As far as I know, the person with the most votes will just get lynched at the deadline. The only way to avoid this in my opinion is to bandwagon a random person, and give him a chance to defend himself before that time.....

Do you find it THAT strange I don't post between 2.38 and 5.47 am!?

I think our mod is a little too eager to set a deadline, but anyway, I stick to my vote, I still find MR the most suspicious around here.......

Oh, and 12 Noon PST, can someone put that into GMT for me, I don't know that time zone.......

I say
Vote: Coolbot
myself, get him speaking. The sudden readdition of the Deadline after one night strikes me as odd, but it IS there and we have to act on it.

Well the only thing we can do is wait until coolbot at least speaks. If he does not he certainly is the most logical person to lynch (or replace). If he is a townie we will after all only lose a silent townie that doesn't contribute to the discussion, so he will not be a great loss.

I'll
Retract
my vote for Jesternl. I won't vote until more info is revealed or Coolbot posts.

I agree that the mod seems a little too ready to impose a deadline, what with this being the weekend and all, but yeah. It's the first day, which means that any lynch is going to be essentially random with just a hint of reason to it, but coolbot makes more sense than most. He's a fairly experienced fellow, which makes him an obvious target for the mafia night one, and the fact that he's still alive seems kinda suspicious. Besides, as Argoti says, what have we to lose? We should lynch someone, as even a completely random lynch is better than just giving the mafia another night to kill, and coolbot isn't being helpful....

vote: coolbot

oh, and moog_fanatic, the proper form for unvoting is a bolded unvote:<insert name here>, just typing retract is probably going to be ignored or missed by the mod.

The problem is that coolbot has not made a single post in this thread, so in order to persuade him to start talking, we place some votes on him so he cannot ignore what is said and will be forced to reply. It is a way to ensure that everyone participate.

Um... when exactly did I say that? I said there was a deadline and we NEED to act on it. With us losing 2 people a night and no docs (maybe?) we need every scum lynched or we are done quickly.

My apologies. It was actually Kleimar who said
If he is a townie we will after all only lose a silent townie that doesn't contribute to the discussion, so he will not be a great loss.
I was reading the posts in the little topic review below the posting box and your post appeared directly under Kleimar's. I accidently thought that it was you who who had said that. Anyhows, either way the point is that I agree with Kleimar, now.

Mod, what will be the consequence of the deadline? Will the day end without a lynch or will the one with most votes be killed?

Yoko, you're starting to upset me... Getting confused between Mario and Lenny? That's outrageous!

I don't think I'm trying to play ignorant. There are still several rules in this games which I don't completely understand yet, since this is my second game and the first one was Werebear's only-townies-and-mafia game, with no cops, doctor, role-blocker or whatever other roles there are. But I'm trying to contribute to the game as much as I can, and actually I find your comments quite insulting.
