well, wouldnt anyone with a bomb on them panic?

They have nothing to fear but fear itself. It's obvious someone wants them dead. For a townie it shouldn't matter.

Townies like dying? I just think it would be a little stupid to be in the game for a grand total of 5 minutes then die, sort of like I do not like night starts of games.

No. But scum or an SK have more reason to fear death than a townie, especially on day 1.
