Left 4 Dead is super fun with a group. I'd also recommend trying out GTA4 multiplayer as a group. It is honestly amazing, especially if you get in free mode and make up gametypes like in the good old days of Halo 2 customs. I'm on a GTA4 kick since I'm getting pumped for the next one.

Sundays would totally work for me.

I was thinking of doing something like this, having a sort of "Gauntlet." Play a new game each month, and then at the end of the month split people in teams (as per necessary) and compete. People will get points depending on how good they do in each game's end of the month tourney, and then whoever has most points by end of a year gets a prize of some sort.

Issue was couldn't think of enough free and decent games.

Interested in this though.

I have Civ 5 base, but can't get into it, just find it really boring compared to 4. Have TF2, CS Source and GO, have Awesomenauts but I'm really unfond of it, have an untouched magicka, have the disappointment of the year Diablo 3, play tons of Dota 2, have SC2: HotS, could get worms, and have Me3.

Edit: Sundays are fine for me.

Sunday evenings would probably not work for me as I usually have work to do then. Otherwise my hours rotate every week so I can do most days some of the time but not any specific day all of the time. Sunday, however, will be a constant.

I have Civ 5 G&K but not BNW - I'll get it eventually but not yet.

By the way, for anyone who hasn't played it before, Worms is a must-do. It's an awesomely fun game that is made more awesome by the fact that it's very easy to be bad at it if you don't know what you're doing (leading to potentially hilarious results).

So it seems like Civ and TF2 are the top contenders, with L4D close behind. I'm thinking it might pay to have both games, as most of us seem to be experienced in one or the other. I'm fairly good at TF2, but have barely touched Civ.

Looks like we've settled on Sunday night as well. What I'm thinking is: let's run sign-ups for both games and get a headcount. If there're enough people to fill both, we can run them at the same time and you pick your favourite. If we're short on people, or enough want to do both, we'll do them at separate times. 'K?

Personally, I think TF2 is better for what we're doing than Civ... Civ tends to drag on and on and if anyone has to leave or something, it kinda ruins the game. TF2 is more "drop in and play" which might work better, but I'm not exactly opposed to either. I'm awful at Civ just FYi
