While encouraging others to post is not at all a bad thing, keep in mind that lurker wagons that start on day 1 and page 1 often result in quick lynches and don't give the town a chance to talk. This results in a sore lacking of information that will be useful later on in the game.
If worse comes to worse, prod him. But it's only been what? three days? The following people own: Pie, Fritz, Inhim

I am worried about Silat's tendency to agree with other people. Usually, it's something the mafia does to get on the good side of townies. So far, he voiced his agreement with me and HezLucky.

In other news, who am I kidding? Keeping my vote on Jabroni is not going to make him post any sooner.Unvote-

Yeah three days to post a "hello whats up" type of post. I think giving him anymore leeway will show scum that it's ok to drop off the face of the planet for a few days and the town won't hold you acountable.HezLucky wrote:While encouraging others to post is not at all a bad thing, keep in mind that lurker wagons that start on day 1 and page 1 often result in quick lynches and don't give the town a chance to talk. If I had a cool ability don't you think I'd have used it??Kenji wrote:I'm back...FOS Silatfor wanting to speed things up, whats the rush?
Have some cool scummy night ability you want to use/want to tell us about?
I'm not attempting to rush, it's just that the games I am used to playing in are a little faster paced thats all. It seems to me that there isn't any discussion going on at all about who could be scum and if I remember correctly thats how we play this game.
Rushing would be posting every hour and demanding that people follow me. Which would also get me lynched That woulld be sad and I would cryIt's a leather thing-

Vote: Silat
I'll admit I should have been here, but placing votes on me to get me to come out is just illogical. If I was lurking, voting won't get me to post regularly. In fact, it would probably get me to post once or twice and sink back into lurk mode once the votes fell off. Plus, I wasn't lurking, I just wasn't aware the game had started. I was one of the first to confirm, and then it took about 3 days after that for everyone else to. I don't like how Silat is agreeing so quickly with everybody, first HezLucky, then Nightfall. Alexander mentioned this too but I might have missed him agreeing with Alexander. Especially his last post, the scum would want a fast game, like the one youre pushing for, instead of a slow game. Although I do think Kenji was reaching with that night choice thing.
Care to explain any of this Silat? They say I'm crazy but I have a good time.-

Sure. In my experience the mafia has an advantage when there is little to no discussion happening. The town gets most of its usable information via discussion, therefore the more discussion there is the better chance the town has. The mafia have the advantage in a faster game yes but the town needs to have conversations happening to determin who the scum is and the lynch appropriatly. (sp?)
I'm not pushing for a fast game, just more involvement. If you were the first to confirm and then didn't notice that the game started I am sorry.

I have no problems with an active game... You just seemed over eager to talk (yeah, I know that sounds strange)... It's day one and we've got very little to talk about and you seem to take it upon yourself to singlehandedly sort everything out for the town. Sure, you could be a concerned townieORyou could be a member of the scum trying to get on our good side, sorry but I'm pessamistic in the early game.-

I wanted to know what Kenji had against an a game with active discussion.
Re agreeing with people. I would think that the scum play here would be to pick one or two people that look to be town and stick to agreeing with them. I have noticed that most of what I am thinking has been said at one point in tiem or another by other people, therefor I tend to agree with them.
@Alexander-how has my behavior been strange? Other than agreeing with multiple people I have been a vocal player and advocated discussion. Are these strange things is a mafia game? It's a leather thing
