Yeah, but Baltimore is the best for the following activities:

Interactive games: Getting stabbed
Good theater: Watching others get stabbed
Critical thinking skills improvement: Choosing between giving up your iPhone or getting stabbed

Blatant DC bias, but God do I hate Baltimore.

/in for now
How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder,
without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better,
and not the world about them?

The Baltimore Museum of Industry is, imho, vastly underrated and a lots of fun for getting into the origins of modern technology.

Also, I can show you where all the cotton candy fluff landed, and probably still is, from my daughter's b-day ~7 years ago

A solid day could be had hitting the Aquarium, lunch in Fells Point or Fed Hill, the BMI, maybe even AVAM (American Visionary Arts Museum) and then an indie film up at the Charles Theatre.

I feel like the sub-title of this meet should simply be "How To Not Get Stabbed"

I like the characterization of this city as "Body-more, Murdaland". Really rolls off the tongue.

I never got into The Wire. I probably should watch it, but eh- too many things/not enough time.

I can't remember if the older show Homicide was set in Baltimore, or just filmed here. The retired police station they used for the show is down Fells Point. I don't think you can go in, but there's a plaque or something about the show outside of it.

Also AVAM is definitely a good and pretty cheap stop. The aquarium is a can't-miss for visitors, but is expensive.

They have, for 40+ straight springs.

It's called the NCAA Men's LAX tournament.

Because it's known as the most cutthroat college, and I heard that the wire just fed that stereotype

LAX is lacrosse, bro.

Fastest game on two feet and fastest growing youth sport in America.

ADD: And the Hopkins men's team has like 43 or 44 straight tourney appearances and a load of championships.

Nooooo, MoS.

Jai Lai uses scoops. LAX uses sticks that have warnings that you could kill someone with them stickered on them.

Matt- the women's games are free! Granted, women's is a different game from men's (like baseball is to softball), but just as good once you learn the differences. You have no excuse!
