Oh, and CafePress stuff doesn't impress me. It's iron-on transfer stuff that just doesn't last very long.

Yeah. Not worth what it costs. We can do better. :)

Dad had a meeting, so I guess we'll have to wait til Sunday to talk to the guy at church. I'll keep looking for other options as well.

It's probably worth considering the amount of copyright infringement we're willing to incur, as well... :?

If we used original art, we could bypass that.

:P Mafiascum player trading cards...

Or you could just sell white T-shirts and we all draw our own logos.

Yes, and thongs!

I'd buy stuff, but I don't have a way of paying for it...

Obviously the sensible way to go.

Can I suggest that you get a proper, written agreement with the creator(s) of the original art before starting production.

I also suggest that jeep/mith, as the operators of the mafiascum site (and therefore owners of the goodwil in the name "mafiascum.net") are parties to the agreement.

Prior agreement can an save an awful lot of problems later, when the sales reach $1 million and everyone is in court fighting over who owns the rights to the product. I'd be happy to look any such agreement over.

No No... I am just a lackey... strong back/weak mind and all that. I have nothing to do with ownership of the site, I simply do what I can to make things run smoother. mith has all the responsibility here. ;)

I'm happy to contribute my thoughts and ideas, though.

We'll definitely work something out with regards to written agreement; that's why as far as t-shirts go, I'm inclined to go with the front page logo and some text. :) Has PolarBoy even been around recently?

Great idea. I'd buy either or both.

The shirt seems like a much more practical undertaking, though.

I think I'd buy a T-Shirt and a set of cards if shipping isn't too expensive.

I know a place where it isn't too expensive to make shirts, but I live on the other side of the ocean...

A friend suggested that Seol's signature would look great on the t-shirts, I thought it was a really good idea. In a bold, creepy font or something.

No. I don't really like to wear shirts that represent an organization, whether it's for prefit or not. That's why I can't believe people would pay shipping and handling for a shirt that says "hersheys" on it. Apparently it's just me... and one other guy.

I would buy stuff if it didn't say "mafiascum.net", but instead have a logo, like a knife or something. I'll see if I can find some free time so I can draw something.

Cards would be pretty cool, although I don't think I would buy them. I'm not too confortable with buying online.

And one thing you could do to make the cards even better is that in addition to the mafia roles, you add numbers and suits, so when you don't feel like playing mafia, or you just don't have enough money, you can play poker with them. If anyone can think anything else to make the cards even more useful, you should try to put that in there too.

Just checking in to say that I haven't forgotten about this. Hopefully talking to a t-shirt guy tomorrow, to get an idea how much this might cost.

He means if you don't have enough players, brian.
